How is that quilted denim? I can't think of another brand that has it. I was thinking of getting a ciano ih vest made of it. Does it feel like thick , warm , fades? I picture it being soft

I picture it being soft It feels kinda warm with the two layers but the wind will go through it. I think it would work well with a vest and as far as fades, I don't think your gonna get much noticeable ones because of the thread pattern. What I mean is their is a bit of white showing through already and when I soaked mine I noticed that the pockets faded ever so subtly compared to the rest of the jacket but it is barely noticeable and only if you had stared at it prior. I think it would make a great jacket. |

I'm thinking about having another try at my CF Carcoat quilted jacket with some custom tweaks. I'd probably like to make the shoulders a couple inches wider (from the slim fit) and remove the top two pockets like this one. I'm still sortof on the fence with my comfort level with the big old flappy pockets and sortof regretting asking for 2 pockets, though even with one flap pocket I think I may be bothered by the size of the flap. At the end of the day, they are only decorative and rarely used in my application so I could get by with only two on the bottom.  |
