If you have a gustin chore coat, how is the sizing and fit?

If you have a gustin chore coat, how is the sizing and fit? Sorry, I don't have any Gustin jacket. On sizing, I wear Gustin size M in button down shirt that fits me tight on the top block, loose on the waist and long on length. Just for your reference.

Very nice indeed. I could well be tempted myself. I have a stealth order for jeans in with Ciano and am hoping he'll quietly come good.

Here are couple quick fit pictures. Just to remind everyone that this jacket is a 18oz Duck Canvas in brown with wood carved buttons and powder coat black bucket. It meant to be a "short" traditional American style jacket. It is in size Medium and I am 5'10", 158 lbs with 39 chest/ 31.5 waist. I think the fit looks pretty good. All I can say is I really adore this jacket and the construction is probably as good as any of my jacket in my closet including some high fashion one. I just took it out from the box this morning and it definitely needs some wear to let the fabric to relax a bit. I may also do some treatment to give the "worn out look" to the canvas. For people who has not handle 18oz Duck Canvas before, the fabric is thick and has a very SOLID feel. It is 20 degree outside and I felt totally warm to wear the jacket/sweater/shirt (in the pictures below) to walk 2 minutes to my car. Frankly, I really doubt that you will be able to find a heavy canvas jacket like this in a stores near you with this type of details, with the exception of some high price Japanese brands. Beside canvas, I can also see this style will look good in denim, especially Herringbone and dark indigo. edit: please excuse the rest of my outfit. My work attire is not the best match with the style of this jacket. #1 Button up with shirt & no sweater #2 With a sweater (I can button up without any fit problem) #3 With a sweater. Tighten up the waist by the buckle at the back #4 with the collar standing up Inspiration:

Man, I wouldn't do any "treatment" to it, other than wear the crap out of it.

I must say, I love the look of this jacket. Especially the buckled rear-cinches. Hopefully he will consider slim fit options too!

It is a prototype...... I am sure Ciano will adjust the measurements after he saw my fit photos.
Btw, the 18oz canvas fabric is very thick and it fits like an armor. If I do it again, I think 12oz will drape better.

If I do it again, I think 12oz will drape better. That 18oz will soften up very nicely, but will take a lot of wearing, and washers. I have some double front Carhartts, and when raw, are very stiff and armor like out of the box, but after years of wash and wear, they become buttery. It will be worth it in the long run.

We have identical body types and measurements

I wonder if they will release this coat. The navy car coat is awesome man. Can't wait for my Ciano's to come in.

How you wash yours? Washer? I would love to do that and I want to have a more worn in look.

Members here know that fit is everything to me. I am a PITA and Ciano was very nice to accommodated all the details that I requested (buttons and buckle). I heard this jacket needed many hours to cut and sew up and I hope he will eventually release this jacket to everyone. He is also making a lined version for his shop partner. It is not very easy to find an unique canvas jacket that within my clothing budget.
