I cold washed my 18oz brown car coat and tumble dried on low it shrunk about an inch in length and about an inch in the sleeve length. It is a lot softer now and fits great except the sleeves feel a little short now

We need "the rack" for clothing. A clothing stretching device to keep sleeves, inseams and length from shrinking while wet.

Only thing I would change are the arms. They are a little baggy and the wrist opening is about an inch too big in diameter

Mine are way too big too, even after a hot soak. I've got about an inch too much room at the cuff and forearms. I

Maybe take some of the width off the sleeves for the 'slim fit' option? *Edit* Above is with regards to the car coat.

I'll post fit pics when they come in.

OK
understand.
we will adjust the sleeve arm and take in in about 1" [ forearm] ....as for the cuff opening...we will leave it because you have two buttonhole and can make it smaller...
Cheers and thanks for all the feed back..we will make the corrections.

Cheers and thanks for all the feed back..we will make the corrections. Ciano Even with the second button on I have a TON of room at the cuff. I can take a picture later and show you. I know that the car coat should have a bit of room for layering, but I could fit like 3 thick flannels in all that space and still have room. That said, I couldn't fit that in the body. I have very large forearms and wrists too, especially compared to the rest of my body. It might make sense to keep the regular fit a bit larger, but the slim fit should definitely taper down a bit IMO I suppose we could just request this custom, but I don't know anyone who has wrists that large. Its like the cuff for my medium should be on an XXL.

Ciano, I hope you don't think I'm being rude. I don't want to tell you how to make your patterns, I have no idea what I'm doing, lol. I just know they are wide, and I have seen others mention the same. If I'm crazy, just tell me to shut the hell up, haha.
Thanks for listening to us, taking feedback, and being so awesome. We need to all chip in and send you a bottle of fine bourbon. Haha.

I've been meaning to buy a car coat for sometime. I'd like the narrow sleeves. Please post when they become available.
Thanks1

I have a coat on order, though would expect it wouldn't enter production until December or so with the current schedule. It'd be nice to know if the adjusted pattern will be ready/applied for orders already signed up for, as I'd really prefer slim(mer) sleeves myself.

Update on the sleeves: Ciano graciously offered to slim my sleeves down on the car coat I ordered. I sent it to them on a Thursday and got it back today only about 11 days later. Super fast turnaround. The coat is much better now. Sleeves feel like they are the appropriate width and I would not hesitate to order another coat. I'm wearing it right now and I'll post some pictures of the updated sleeves later Cheers for being so amazing cianofarmer . Thanks so much.

After extended sulence at LD yet again, I needed to take out my frustration somewhere. What better way than to order a Field Hand jacket from cianofarmer. Support a company that's doing good work. I was really compelled by the story behind the Texas denim and apparently lot 3 is in the works. So that's the route I went. Copper thread with orange tackers, selvedge detail on front pocket, vintage penny on the pocket flap, and a touch longer in overall length. I thought about lining it but don't need a fall jacket. Really looking forward to getting it around spring, the perfect time for use here in Minnesota.
