cianofarmer glad to hear you came out unscathed but I know it's been a lot of work for you breaking down the shop and resetting it. Just the anxiety alone can be fiscally draining. So pace yourself (we're a very patient group, just take a look at the LD threads Some very nice looking jackets you made there! I'm likeing the Brando. But thinking it may be a bit to short for me (I don't really like the short levis jackets). What would the length be in a Large? that was a special make up for a customer. we usually do not do that length... here are the specs we would do for you..you can always ask for a large length at no extra cost

Has anyone else seen shrink results for say their chore coat as WILS had? No, I'm too scared to, as I can't afford to lose much at all. If I ever wash it, it'll be a gentle cold hand wash. wdw if you order from us..and it shrinks to much from the original size you order..you can always return it to us and we will cut you another jacket for you....we can always find a home for our items...we have a great forum and others will always purchase the jacket that does not fit you.....Cheers Ciano

cianofarmer what are differences in waist on the slim and regular jackets? For example, what would be the difference between the chest to waist on the XS regular and the S slim?

Nais! So the armlength is from center back right? I think all specs except arms looks same as Gustin trucker that is a little to big for me, so after shrink this one would probably be perfect! But I would like the arms a little longer, does anyone have any idea how much arms will shrink? I have no idea in what direction the fabric is cut but my gustin trucker shrank most in the arms. I guess just adding an inch could be good.

I think it's about time for me to order a chore coat. Now that I'm not worried about shrinkage.....

So I was the lucky one that Ciano made the Type II and Type III jackets for. They sent me the samples for my feedback. I will update Ciano and you guys after I take my graduate school placement exams tomorrow and Tuesday.
First impression is very very good construction. Sizing wise, they sent me their L slim and XL slim. I am 6'1 240 lbs and the XL fits very well with room and L fits snug but wearable to me. I'll get pics up later this week

Thanks Griffin. Looks like he can do my size. I want one so I have to figure out the material and go for it. Anyone know the current lead time to get something?

@ciano
What fabric options are there for the slim fit type 3 trucker? I'm so tempted by this. I wouldn't mind one in black warp grey weft fabric like the denim Gustin offered, but it would have to be 14oz or heavier.

Yeah! Like...make the exams feel like *they* are taking the exam!! If you kinda own them theyd be like -oh noes we are nervous we arent hard enough...like they have to really study themselves and meditate over their existance since you just slaughtered them! It should be like they were thos bad dudes appartement and you just walked in breaking the door, throw shit on the floor and spraypaint the walls.. Walk out and attach the door again and just keep walking. Cool whistling into sunset - optional.

Finally soaked my car coat and it fits great now. The difference in drape is unreal. The sleeves however did not shrink any and are about 1 inch too long. Going to try sticking just the sleeves in a pot of hot water tomorrow and then throw it in the dryer.

What's different about the drape? My 18oz coat is still pretty stiff and I've been wearing it to work for weeks now. I'd like to soften it a bit, but am nervous about shrinkage.

It definitely shrunk in the body, maybe about a half inch to an inch in width, and the same in length. Not sure on shoulders. I'm pretty sure Ciano accounts for shrinkage when cutting. Call and ask. It was super boxy and stuff before, now it feels great. I'd say if it fits just right, cold soak it, and then wear it around.
