The 23oz has gone live, along with some other new stuff.
I'm down for the 23oz indigo, with delivery when summer starts winding down.

Did anyone notice the use of the "finest mills in Japan" phrasing? Sounds so similar to what you see on Gustin's site. i feel like i'm betraying a friend saying this, but yeah, it's sorta obvious that a lot of ciano's descriptions are almost ctrl+c ctrl+v'd straight from gustins pages. and if you look ciano up on reddit, i do believe he cops flak for borrowing images from other websites too. i've been thinking for a while now, it would be awesome if we could as a forum offer to re-write ciano's descriptions for him. (ciano & co., if you're reading this, i mean no offense! you're my favourite!) we wouldn't be asking for any compensation, or anything like that, but i thought it would just be a fun thing to do. and just to get the ball rolling, the stories ciano tells about his texas selvedge guy - these stories just BEG to be put up on the website! our only other stipulation would be to vow to never use the word, or any derivative thereof, butter. or gauze. ciano, mods, people what do you reckon? I don't see what you guys are describing anywhere on the Ciano site. Descriptions or pictures. How can they be borrowing pictures when they are of Ciano's products? Maybe I am not looking at the right pages. I have always thought their ordering page is very well done and detailed. Have never seen another like it.

I'm thinking blk/blk with contrast stitching. What thread color do you guys think would look good? You could do damn near anything and have it look good as long as you're into it. A grey would be really cool, white may look really "fashionable" which will work, or gold if you prefer a traditional look. Navy would probably look great and offer lower contrast while still setting itself off a bit. Khaki would be good as it would pop less than both gold/yellow and white, but still be high in contrast. I'd say grey or khaki, but do grey, navy, or black myself.

If you look at the Moss Herringbone for example, the copy references are...similar Under See Details! thought i might have been going crazy for a minute... yeah, some of the phrasing in the details pages are really similar. they just seem sorta jolty. and maybe just following gustin format, but sorta "in their own words" sorta thing. i think they cleaned up the image issues a while ago. each intermittent update of the website lately has brought in a few small changes, and the appearance of the website is gradually getting better and better. but those descriptions. just a really gentle suggestion for something that might be fun for us all. i dunno.

Could be a description from the fabric mill as mentioned.

We will have this fix tonite... And this web guy will be gone tomorrow..after he fix all this .. Again thanks for the heads up Cheers ciano i really have no idea what is involved in setting up websites, or getting website guys involved, or anything of the sort. it might be a completely innocent oversight, if your site guy is using a description you guys get from the mill itself (is that a thing?) it would make sense that if they're basing it off that then it will be similar to any other company that does the same thing. and are website guys expected to check out the other denim websites to see if there are too many similarities? i really have zero idea about any of this. and hence my suggestion: hell ciano, you could make it a competition/contest of some kind if you wanted. we could put up a thread that submits descriptions of your fabrics and you could pick a winner that wins a pair of jeans or something. or it would be a sort of open source project on the forum - we put up a google doc, and whoever is in gets edit capabilities and we just create some fun, fresh, fabric descriptions just because we love your work and want to give your site the quality input in deserves. but again, i don't know. either of those options might sound like a complete nightmare to you. i just reckon the dudes on this forum would be up for the challenge. but i feel i should be more explicit about my first point: don't go keelhauling some nerd over this. we think what you're doing is great and this is just a little setback that can be fixed.

Couldn't imagine wearing the double knees now. They will truly take a few years to really break in. Actually, Ciano's timing for the 23oz is good, because you won't be wearing them until late Summer, early Fall.

A cold front has had me in my G 23's yesterday and this morning, they are amazingly comfortable. I want a pair of the black/black 23's from CF but am going to sit out this go around of the fabric waiting for my other orders to come in. I really hope they get more in Dec 2016 so that I don't regret this decision.

Heard back from Ciano today about these, so he's alive and well. I ordered indigo, but now I have my 21oz IH-634S, indigo seemed a waste of time, so I've changed to the 23oz black with black stitching.
I ordered on the day they came out, in early June I think, so am at about 11 weeks and counting. I'm guessing it's going to be 16 at least before they're made.

Clutch Monkey and Ciano both got a hold of that 23oz blackxblack fabric. Other than those two guys I can't think of anywhere else where you can find a 23oz blackxblack fabric. That's insane.
