Gustin large is too small and Xl is too big so i have to get xl and wash warm and tumble and then wear with a tshirt under. But this is a litte hijacking of the ciano-thread. Here's how my XL measures up PxP- 22.5 Shoulders - 18.5 Bottom opening- 21.5 Back length- 28.5 Neck- fits just right on me, I like a 16" I don't recall any shrink on mine. As a disclaimer YMMV I have gained a little weight over the past year and this shirt fits snug (no, tight). I wear a Gustin XL button up which fits good and a XL classic denim WS which fits good also. I may be willing to sell you this Wabash (very reluctantly) so I can hunt down a better fit (I like the style cut).

Kind of nice to come to a thread that's quiet.
Almost forgot about the Wabash jeans I got coming. Think it's been about 12 weeks now. Should be able to wear them apple picking soon. Hoping the fit is good. Not sure what my wife will think of them, hoping it doesn't look like I'm "trying to hard" to be all Vintage looking.

My jeans arrived this week. The fit & finish are as good as I'd hoped, I'm very happy & will place another order soon. The stripes in the fabric are a little whiter than I had expected but I'm getting used to them. I wish CF did workshirts; this would make a great workshirt fabric.

I like Ciano's Wabash a lot and would buy more in it if he had anything. I'm guessing he's so snowed under nowadays that we won't be seing anything new for quite some time.

I'm thinking a few washes will tone it down a bit. Of course I'd hand/tub wash these. Wouldn't want some odd streaking.

Yeah, I figure the guys need a vacation also (not that I know if they went on one or not). If they took some time off, that's good with me. They seem like hard workers. That's all I care, that a guys being productive and trying. I'll get them eventually. I'm wondering if this CF Wabash is the same stuff IH uses on for there Wabash WorkShirt.?

DigDug, assuming the IH work shirt is the same as the western, the materials are completely different. The IH has a slightly rougher look and feel, with printed/bleached beige dots, whereas the Ciano seems a bit heavier and smoother, but with woven stripes. Both are good in their own ways. In the interests of science, I might do a close-up comparison pic when I get home tonight.

And I don't think there's enough description on either sites about the Wabash. I did take to CF about there fabric, sounds really nice.

I could pop it in the mail to you if you'd like to take a look? It's definitely ligter-feeling than what I'd imagine 12 oz. would feel like, but super nice. The wabash stripes are a jacquard technique. They'll get bled on by the indigo and toned down, but I'd assume will only get muted because of the jacquard technique.

Here's a close-up comparison of the IH black Wabash and Ciano's indigo. The indigo has a smoother feel to it and is an inky dark shade. The flash here has lightened it. You can see that the indigo weave is tighter, hence the smoothness. Also the indigo stripe is white thread woven into the denim, whereas the IH is bleached on dots. I like them both.

Would you go with black or navy thread if you desire a tonal look for the CF wabash?

Would you go with black or navy thread if you desire a tonal look for the CF wabash? I went with Navy. I would think at first no one would be able to see the difference between navy or black on it. But over time (depending on wear and care) the contrast of black would show. Where the navy would fade (mostly due to washing). Hoping to get mine soon (think its been 3 months since I ordered).

I got a grey thread on mine. If this site allowed pics via mobile then I'd post a pic! If you're using Chrome, I can only speak for Android and Chrome, there's a desktop option in the bottom right corner. You can add pics when doing a desktop reply.

Subsound. Very nice with the subtle thread. Mine's a bit OTT with copper. So what do you think about the material?

The material has a nice weight & feel to it, but they do look, at a distance, like a pair of black pinstripe suit pants. I'm hoping they'll tone down after a few washes, or at least I'll feel less conspicuous wearing them. Mine is a slim cut.
