Anyone get the Japanese 13.5oz Wabash??? How do you think a pair of Chinos would look or a pair of 5 pocket? I'm intrigued..... How about a jacket? Thoughts? There's no discription.... Is it a denim, twill? How would this wear? I'm thinking a pair of Work Chinos, beat up and washed a few times would look nice. I wonder how the fades would look? Someone's got to do it.....

Yeah, some cool Google pics. I may need to get a pair, you know, for science. Narrowing it down to a pair of five pockets. I'm no Denim Bro but I kind of like that "I'm wearing some fancy pants to dig holes in" (if that makes any sense. It did in my head

DigDug, just go for it man. You'd be doing more hard work in your workwear than most folks who are sporting it these days. The more "historic" looking fabrics can look great mixed in with stuff made from more contemporary fabrics. I've have the IH black wabash vest and it looks great with some beat denim and a short sleeve t or long sleeve dress shirt/sleeves rolled up. I've got some 18oz duck chinos on order from Ciano and the only thing keeping me from grabbing the same pants in wabash is uncertainty in the fit, I'll have than figured out soon enough though

I like them. I have a wabash shirt from Ih th 62. I hate painters cut but a standard 5 pocket I think would look good.

Placed an order for the Wabash!!! A little apprehensive on fit. The Slims seem to have a very low back rise. Hoping this can be adjusted, something like a Gustins slim.

What kind of look/cut would look best on a pair of these Wabash? I like the Gustin slims but thinking something a bit more fuller would be a more appropriate look. Anyone have the slims or straits from CF? Is CF able to tweek the cuts/sizing?

Anyone have the slims or straits from CF? Is CF able to tweek the cuts/sizing? Actually, I think the five pocket, or a more vintage vibe chino with the cinch-back, would both work. I have straights, in both Gustin, and CF, and like them both, but the slim doesn't work for me. Ciano can tweak your sizing for sure, just shoot him an e-mail, or call.

What style did you end up ordering DigDug ? I would've gone with a chino cut, I think. Maybe in a future life I can have a job where I could rock some Wabash chinos.....

Went with the slim strait 5 pocket. It was a toss up with the chino cut. I think both would have been fine. But i went with the slim strait because this Wabash is a denim not a twill or canvas. So I thought I'd stay in the same denim/jean style.
