Just got my Slim Darryl IxI 25 oz kickstarter Sweedish. I have tried about 10 styles of Gustin and LD and these have absolutely blown me away. Very impressed. Can you post some pics?

I ordered and received today my Kickstarter pair 25 oz ixi. I based my sizing off of my 32 slim gustin measurements. The soso size I ordered was a 31 and the fit is great. However the small leg opening is something to definitely get used to. I'm glad I ordered a long inseam as I figured I would be cuffing them. Again however the rigidity of the denim and small leg opening does not look good and is not very easily cuffed. So I will be getting these hemmed instead. Again I am so glad I ordered extra length. The construction and quality of the jeans is awesome. I ordered black thread and hardware with double back belt loops and a black leather patch. In comparison to the beasts from gustin, these are way more pleasurable to wear. They are not as rigid and I can already feel the waistband stretching even after a short time wearing them. I can even fit my hands in my pockets without scraping off skin unlike my beats! Can't wait to see how these develop, break in, and fade.

Yeah, I was all ready to buy the purple denim they have thats like PBJ but cheaper so I started to do a build. Looking at the defaults, it's like a 'bug' of their jeans with that small leg opening.
I actually look at it as a built in 'feature' for the manufacturer as it forces people to add a "custom" option to their jeans build. That really turned me off to their company but they do offer some pretty cool stuff.

The leg opening gets wider as it goes up obviously due to the taper. So getting a longer inseam helped if that makes sense.

I need a new pair of denim like I need a hole in the head.
With that said, I wish I would have seen this thread a few months ago. The Purple Haze looks f!@k'in killer and I don't like purple!

I'm only two pairs in on my Soso denim collection, but I will give them high praise for their fit and denim selection. I've only opted for their Japanese offerings, but overall, they have some pretty nice choices if you really want a tricked out pair.

I have a pair of BraveStar coming in at the end of the month and I'm still working a pair of Gustin 17s Japanese something or other. Couch needs to stop buying denim. Couch

I tend to wear them for six months, get some fades and lose interest. I really need to wear a pair for a year. That's the intention for the 21.5 Brave Star coming in. Well, until it gets hot as hell in the summer. But yes, I need another pair! I'm just not sure what I'm going to order. If I do order some, I'll post them details here. Couch

couch they just posted a 35% off coupon, not sure if you saw that Yeah, I saw that. Put some "Purple Haze" in my cart, applied the coupon, and might as well get some custom done IF I ordered them because after you apply the coupon then it takes it down below free shipping so they add $29 on for that.

That 35% off deal is enough to get me to finally pull the trigger on another pair I've been eyeing up.

I already have a 12 oz Kiahara broken-twill from a prior season's offering. Thinking about something 16+ to try. Most likely the Sakeshi or the Green line slub.

Well, 35% off got me (and having some funds in my PayPal account from selling off 4 pairs of Gs), and liking the Soso Slim Darryl fit. Opted for the 16.3 Japanese Sakeshi Slub with subtle custom elements.

The swede ixi is significant but actually has a pretty soft hand for 23oz. I surprised myself with a cinch-back on the broken twill. I think it's grey thread on both of these, so I definitely anticipate more wear on them than my lime green (I guess it's olive but don't believe it) stitched 23 oz indie from the last campaign.
Really, I hardly remember ordering these, but I guess it looks right. Heh.

Couch The rainbow selvedge broken twill from their last kickstarter campaign is quickly on the way to becoming one of my favorite pairs of jeans. The buckle back is a little silly for me but it's a nice little detail that is largely unseen since I'm typically wearing an untucked shirt.
