I picked up a pair of NF Easy Guy elephant 2. love the fit, wish the leg opening was a bit bigger, but whatever, top block is nice and fits me - none of their other fits work for me

I didn't realize the Easy Guys had that much taper, an inch tighter cuff than Weird Guys. Interesting.

BOW has a few new styles from N&F. I kinda dig the green tea dyed one. I remember seeing a sneak peek of this one on their IG awhile back. The indigo weft one looks cool too but it's stretch

I seen the green tea one. Pretty cool. Tate and yoko currently have a Boxing Day sale, so I'm debating about pulling the trigger, but there weird guy fit (slim tapered) doesn't look all that great.

My guess is this is the same indigoXgreen tea denim that G offered a couple weeks ago. Looks like G got N&F's leftovers, hence the secret email they sent out to select customers

Looks like G got N&F's leftovers, hence the secret email they sent out to select customers Wait what secret email? G occasionally sends out emails to select customers to fund specific products. If you check the Gustin thread you'll see a link that Exophobe (or DigDug) linked to that had the IndigoXGreen Tea selvedge denim available for funding. I didn't get this email but got a different one. I don't know how these emails work. It could be that G sends out emails to specific customers that have spent over a certain amount of money.

I wonder if this denim has a slight Green Tea scent to them? I am liking the green weft also.

Do you think these "Fire Chicken" jeans are the same as last years "Year of the monkey" just re-marketed with a new patch? Year of the Rooster Jeans

More new N&F up at BOW. The 16.5oz kaiju denim looks interesting.
Is it just me or did N&F raise their prices? $180 seems like their new price.

The kaiju denim also has a shell cordovan patch if that matters

I'm also pretty sure N&F aren't using Horween shell which is what Alden uses. N&F must be using either Shinki Hikaku shell or shell from a Euro tannery, but i'm leaning towards Shinki. You can bet your bottom dollar that if they were using Horween they'd point that out since all leather goods makers point this out as a sales pitch.

the other thing that has me curious is that BOW's description lists the kaiju denim as having a low tension weave. it sounds very much like my Leon Denim which is a low tension weave from Collect Mills. Tough faders for sure. Took me 3 months of constant wear to get any sort of fades going. I wonder if the kaiju denim is also from Collect Mills?
