They added a new fit. The easy guy. Bigger top block and thigh and more taper from knee down. Haven't seen a fit guide yet.

There are quite a few sizes of various styles of N & F jeans on Amazon right now that are on sale at crazy good prices. I just got myself a pair of broken twill Skinny Guys for $41. I definitely didn't need them, but for 40 bucks it was too hard to pass up. It seemed like the more common sizes were average price, but if you're smaller or larger you might find yourself a steal.

I'm waiting for the E5's to go to $99 around Christmas.

That is not purple. But if they were 50% heavier and not stretchy, I'd be a lot more interested.

The Japanese love pink, as it symbolizes the cherry blossoms. But combine pink with indigo, and you're into Barneyland. I see more pink than purple, but the stretch makes them girly no matter what.

I go back and forth with colored wefts. one minute I like them the next minute I don't. I think PBJ puts out some pretty cool jeans, especially the cobalt weft denim, but I still have a hard time picturing myself wearing them. My understanding of the N&F Sakura denim is that over time it will fade to a pinkish hue, and that really would look stupid

They look like grape kool-aid powder to me.

Been wearing my LHT's some more and I dig this denim a lot. I'm noticing some vertical fading and there are some baby electric blue fades coming in on the back pockets. This is my only other pair of denim with a blue selvedge ID besides my USDG

Finally decided to do a cold machine wash for my LHT's. Aside from a tub soak these haven't been cleaned in months. After these dry the fades should be interesting.

the post wash results on my LHT's is interesting. In the light I can see electric blue fades where there's creasing. The pocket fade in the pic is all over the place and isn't the standard rectangular wallet shape. I wonder if it's because I threw them in with a bunch of other clothes?

I've found two things help avoid washer fades: washing them by themselves (though I have gotten away with running a couple pairs of jeans at once), and getting there right at the end of the very lowest spin cycle (if the washer doesn't have an "extra low" setting for spin speed, turn spin off). What you've got there, though, isn't a bad way to learn the lesson at all -- a couple people have had some pretty rough experiences with this, myself included. Once you get a couple washes in that stuff you've got going on on the pocket will sort itself out.

In Vancouver BC so I decided to try out some Naked and Famous. Picked up some left and twill in the new easy guy fit. Amazing fit. Very happy.

They're going to be offering a ton of stuff for the sample sale, and I'd imagine they'll let you buy some of that stock. Shell Bergs are going for less than $700 during the sale.

I actually like the way they turned out because it's not a standard looking fade. I could've washed them individually but these days I have to pay to use the washer, so not something I need to do. They are jeans after all and will fade even more over time

Left hand twill likes to be washed counter clockwise. Try holding down the water temp and spin cycle buttons together for five seconds to reverse the way the drum spins. Manufactures got sick of selling a different motor to the Southern Hemisphere and made the motors reversible years ago.

A nice set of casters will allow you to move it to the left or right extreme. Push it to the exact middle of the room for broken twill and always, always face the door towards the country of origin of the denim.

This is the only way I'll wash my selvedge: edit: you know how it ends, but I bet you clicked anyway.
