Sweet. Glad to hear those worked out for you sizewise. I'm a bit jealous that I didn't find these before you. I'm a 12 in boots as well, although I already have a pair of black stows, and a person really only needs 1 pair of black boots, I would have been tempted to snag those.
BTW, my left foot is a little bigger than my right foot--why am I telling you this?--because one boot is usually a little small for me and I find that I can shove a couple of screwdriver handles in the forefoot of my left boot for a day or two and it will stretch it out perfectly . . . so, if they end up a little tight, use the screwdriver trick. Sometimes I also shove a sanding block (one of those rubber ones that is rounded on top) in there and then a screwdriver handle on top of that to reduce snugness on the top of the foot. YMMV.

These were a very limited run done for the Trunk Club by Oak Street. I would give my 3rd arm for a pair of these

Ok which pair of laces look best? The black leather laces are stock & come with the boots. The Black/brown leather laces are store bought & more likely to break eventually as they stretch as i pull to tie them. I am leaning towards the Brown/black because tbh I hate black boots & would dye these things Kakishibu if I could lol

On a related note, here I was all ready to get some iron rangers and you guys have totally sold me on OSBM -- though I might just be impressionable. Probably just save longer and get some OSBM trenches, although now that I'm in this price range, and after that Blind Bully article you linked that compared them, I may just end up going after the Alden. These are some great looking boots, though, and look like they're gonna stay that way darn-near forever with reasonable care.

No preference. They both look good. I am all about the black boots/shoes so they look great to me.

I prefer the black/brown. If I had them I'd go with black waxed cotton or natural flat cotton laces.

Christmas comes early.... I am a sucker for the #8 Horween color.... I sold my #8 Chromexcel Wolverine 1K mile Kruase due to sizing issue and got back this one. Great construction and the quality of the boots definitely feel more substantial compared to the RedWing and 1K boots. It is True to Size as my RW and 1K miles boots.

Wearing them with my Gustin blackxblack. Same as my other Horween leather boots, the leather is so soft and no break-in is needed.

How are these breaking in for you, bro? I bought these a full size down from my brannock, and they are definitely tight but wearable. Have your stretched much or any?

Just got the black trench boots in the mail today. The leather def needs some breaking in but should be fine after a bit of wear. I wear a size 13 in most sneakers 12 in most shoes & boots 11 in RW Iron Ranger & got these in an 11. They fit fine other than being a bit snug around the foot but not a problem. The site & just about every where else iv seen these says 1/2 size down from your reg foot size. I went a full size & it isnt much of a problem. I have flat feet where my entire foot presses against the floor when barefoot & these feel comfy How are these breaking in for you, bro? I bought these a full size down from my brannock, and they are definitely tight but wearable. Have your stretched much or any? They look like this now and have stretched to a comfortable fit. I also bought em 1 full size down from my Brannock 12 size. I wore them a full month without taking them off as well as doing a lot of walking in them so that sped up the process. They were tight around my foot but fine at the toe.

That's such good news. These boots are so badass!

New addition to my OSB family... actually it is a small family. I have been trying to get a pair of Natural color Horween boots for a while. Viberg is a out of budget and these OSB are pretty nice. If someone is thinking about purchasing a pair, I would recommend them. (No more boots purchase for me in the next six months.... no Shell Indy in stock please...) Natural Trench Boots The older sibling

Natural Trench Boots Those are the ones I want (well, with the cap-toe), so please keep my jealous heart apprised of how those wear in. Once I can get this impulsive behavior in check and stop backing all these damn Kickstarter projects, I plan on picking up a pair.

They look really nice. I wish they came with dainite sole. The nattys specifically? I hear you there. Been tempted by the #8 with the Dainite sole (also available on the black and the roughout) but the natty looks like the pick of the litter to me.

I agree and #8 (744LTD, 1K Krause & OSB) are my favorite color/leather/boots. I just have this "THING" about the natural CXL and I just HAVE to have a pair. I did have a pair of roughout WWII boots before but I had a hard time to carry it without looking too much like military. My next target will be Waxed Flesh boots... probably not until next fall since I have to stop these impulse boots purchases.
