Oops, you said Shell, I just looked at the earlier link. Carry on, blue horse is cool. Are those you pictured OSB, or another brand? the ones I'm considering are Viberg Service Boots. But yeah, it's going to be tough to reach for them though if I own them. I also want Wolverine shell boots as well, which I'd probably find myself wearing everyday. Good luck finding the 744's or 721's..... There were only 1k of each made. The 721's were made 3-4yrs ago I believe... 744's were about 2yrs ago.

I've read that Wolverine outsourced production of some of their boots to Allen Edmonds and that they show up on their AE seconds site from time to time. not sure if any of their shells would be available through the AE seconds site given how long ago they were made, but it's worth a look if anyone is considering some of Wolverine's other models.

They look fantastic, but I've never worn blue shoes before. How versatile are blue boots, because I'm really considering hard getting a pair of navy shell boots. Girlfriend asked me if there's anything I want her to buy me, and about a dozen things popped into my head, but navy shell boots is up at the top. the navy shell Viberg's that popped up awhile ago were on my want list, but I can't imagine what the hell they would go with outside of oxblood denim.

I really like these Cherry Oak Streets from Blue Owl, but just don't think I could wear red boots.

I couldn't resist these at $135 from supply and advise. Even though I was unsure about the color. After wearing them for a couple days I decided they were too red. Now they look like this. I love these things. Very comfy.

Yes. Clean with acetone, tape off the sole, feiblings oil dye, permanent black marker on the midsole, finished with Venetian shoe cream. Pretty easy but messy. You have to be careful with the dye. It's thin and will run under the tape. I was unsure if the dye would take on the threads, around the toe its a heavy waxed type but after a couple of days wearing them there's no sign of it coming off. These have the vibram "more flex" sole that I love. Not good if there's ice or snow but good traction otherwise. Not too hard or soft and they don't hold dirt etc.

I've been tempted to try dying a few things with indigo but have never taken the plunge.

Kinda digging the Color 8 Commando Sole Summit boots...although I think I could score a few other options for the $526 price tag.

I picked up a pair of plain toe Bluchers. Will give my thoughts on them when I have some wear in them

Wearing them today. Very versatile shoe. Only small issue is that they squeak. Hoping some wear works that out

Leather or Dainite sole? I have some leather soles that always squeak but my Dainites have all shut up after a few wears.
