Beautiful. I agree about the speed hooks. I wish more manufacturers would include these. Maybe I'm just weird

No idea, couldn't be too expensive. There is probably a small market out there for screw on speed hooks. Kinda like chicago screws. Two piece, maybe with a small rubber gasket to keep them from coming undone. Someone make them, i'll buy!

Just landed on Massdrop. Only need 9 people to commit to get the price down to $339.99 (about an $86 price break).

(though i would have still wanted the indys deep down)

I should just delete this account before Ickes sidetracks me on a pair of Iron Hearts. It may be too late...

@david, yeah, I have to keep telling myself I don't need these since those natural cxl Aldens are not that much farther away, or are they. Crap, those Aldens won't show up until at least June and these would be in hand in May. That's a whole month sooner

Guess I'm not a big fan of moc toe style boots, although I do own the Oro Legacies.

I don't really care for them in anything but the natural cxl. The ones I regret getting are the Red Wing Beckmans. They were tough as hell to break in and I now think the toe box looks funny.

They look fantastic, but I've never worn blue shoes before. How versatile are blue boots, because I'm really considering hard getting a pair of navy shell boots. Girlfriend asked me if there's anything I want her to buy me, and about a dozen things popped into my head, but navy shell boots is up at the top.

With the amount of denim worn around these parts, I'd imagine it would be a fairly versatile pair of boots..... It's the issue of actually WANTING to wear blue boots though, lol

Chromexcel moos. And I like contrast, unless it's black. But this just means you should order them.

Are those you pictured OSB, or another brand? the ones I'm considering are Viberg Service Boots. But yeah, it's going to be tough to reach for them though if I own them. I also want Wolverine shell boots as well, which I'd probably find myself wearing everyday.

The clown toe of my Wolverines makes me pass on them more than a flatter toe like OSB or Viberg use.

Same thing, just the work boot toe. Hard to wear with a suit. The dressier toe of other boots just works better for me. Currently trying to choose between Whites (now that I know you can get a normal heel) and Aldens, both in moo.
