I just put my JPN HICKORY STRIPE WORKSHIRT in size Medium on BST. Send me an email at wils8800 at Gmail dot com if you are interest. I think Gustin work shirt is not going very well. I have not gotten any interest on my HSWS and it should ship this month. What is going on?

I figure since they went with a different shop that has experience with sewing up for Japanese brands, they should be spot ont. From what I have heard, the Japanese wouldn't tolerate poor quality. I recently read where History Preseveration quite buying Sugar Cane shirts made in the US, because of poor quality, and now they only carry stuff made in Japan. Seem kind of sad to me. so... you do know the work shirt and jeans are both sew up by Sky, right? When Gustin said it is different, I am thinking Sky doesn't sew their current button down shirts. It is going to be interesting about my two work shirts... for $135 and $136, they need to be perfect. Btw, I am all worry now. Gustin said the same factory sew those Japanese brand work shirts.... wondering is Sky the one being bounced by Suger Cane.... That doesn't make me feel warm and fuzzy, if the jeans with so many sizing issues, are being sewn by the same place that will be doing the Work Shirts. I figure Gustin better hold them accountable for making them correct, or there will be a backlash for future sales. NOW will be the time for Gustin to step up their game.

I had reservations about ordering the Postal from Gustin, because I can't guarantee it will fit, but decided to give them one chance on these. Timing is everything, and if Lawless would have relaunched in time, I certainly would have gone with their version for half the money. I think if Gustin doesn't get this right, people will return them, as they will be hard to resell on the BST, when you can get one somewhere else for half the price.

part of the issue is likely the same thing that has slowed the subequent work shirt offerings...the people who really wanted one have backed one or two...and everyone else is in a holding pattern to see how they turn out before backing any.
the hickory stripe was funded pretty quickly as it was one of the first offered, and no one knew what else would be offered. however i think now that everyone has seen the other campaigns, and know that some of them won't have the diagonal pockets...that the hs wouldn't fund as quickly if it was offered now. unfortunately it's a tough spot to be in and tough timing to be trying to sell it.

Arggghhh...those scoops are still looking dangerously high to me! I'm a bit worried now as I have two on order, but i will say I like the looks of this Japan Khaki WS...well what I can see of it anyways but it needs CONTRAST STITCHING. White would be cool, black would be cool...yeah

Its got to make you think thats what we'll get with the first round of work shirts, which will piss me off. Most of here stated to Gustin that we didn't want huge scoops for the work shirt, and the pictures always seemed to obsure this detail. To blow us off, and do it anyway is not Kosher in my book.

I backed the cone 101 looks good. Semi contrasting with the grey stitching. Should have some fade potential. I went true to the rest of my G sizes L regular.

To blow us off, and do it anyway is not Kosher in my book. the indigo chambray, indigoxindigo, and cone 101 have direct photos of the scoop/gusset. the others have partial views, so i'd say that the scoops have been visible from the initial release of the work shirts. that said, i think they're actually a bit more severe looking than the standard shirt...in that the angle is more severe which gives it more of the nightshirt look that Mattbert alluded to. i don't think it'll bother me as much as some...but it's pretty steep.

I wonder if the WS is using the same patterns as the regular shirts to save money, etc? The gusset masking that somewhat? I'd hate to think that, but the way things are going...

I'd hate to think that, but the way things are going... not the same scoops as the regular shirts. the work shirt is 'steeper' and more prominently 'overlapped'...the regular shirt looks much more subtle (gentler arc) across the bottom in comparison

Ugh. That scoop looks way too deep. Didn't they say the scoop is not as prominent on the WS as it is on the regular shirts?
Has anyone ever told them they think the scoops look great? Serious question.

Serious question. I remember a lot of folks stating that they thought it was too dramatic, but some it doesn't bother. Some have said the shirts feel like it is somewhat of a "penis curtain".
