Just curious about who's backed a WS or two and which ones. I've got the Postal and the WabiSabi in the pipe.
edit: in slim XL
Hopefully this thread gets full of pics soon!

I have been close to pulling the trigger. Looking for dark denim with contrast stitching. I was closest with the Zimbabwe Workshirt. If they had pictures and had the look I like I would have. When I see the first pics I might be wishing I had. I would think another offering that I like will come up.

Went with a standard, medium Postal My small trucker was too small and it's going to be worked so didn't want to risk a slim fight
Don't really want to back anymore till it comes in but reallllyyy want some flannel, so who knows right now

I've backed the Zimb and the Indigo Chambray (but this one's going to come in a bit tight for me as it was before I realized a Large isn't really a Large).

I backed the Zimbabwe and went with classic M. The oxfords fit me fine, maybe slightly looser than a Banana Republic tailored slim M. As long as these don't sew up any more than 1" small it should be about perfect with the extra length of the work shirts.

I've seen this extra length referenced a lot, but it appears the fit guide was revised after the initial release of the work shirts. The length is now listed as the same as the equivalent size in the button-downs.

Now I'm considering switching to a Slim L.

Japan Heavy Black. I went with Large, though I am a bit afraid it is going to come out a bit big.
The first Gustin shirt I ordered was a Medium. At the time, it was a bit too small (in the chest/shoulder area). I have a few more now, all Large. The fit was okay in the chest/shoulder area but too much fabric in the waist.
Since that, I have lost 25-30 lbs. Tried on the Medium last night out of curiousity and it fits better now.
I guess time will tell.

I too went XXL on the Postal, but I'd rather it come in a little large, than small. I figure if its a tad large, a little hot water would probably rectify that, where if its too small, it will be going back, and I would really hate to see that. Hopefully, because they are using a higher end sew shop for these, they will be right on. A little wishful thinking never hurt.

Well that was my thinking but now i am thinking to rectify the small sew ups Gustin will over compensate and ship out Big Puns shirts

I figure since they went with a different shop that has experience with sewing up for Japanese brands, they should be spot ont. From what I have heard, the Japanese wouldn't tolerate poor quality. I recently read where History Preseveration quite buying Sugar Cane shirts made in the US, because of poor quality, and now they only carry stuff made in Japan. Seem kind of sad to me.

Japanese standard is at a different level. I used to work for one of the major high tech/hardware company in San Jose. The Japanese started rejecting our products even everything tested out well when they came back. After we met with the distributor, they told us the package carton boxes were stretched during shipping from US to Japan and it considered unacceptable in Japan standard..... the company then spent more than a million dollar to just design the package for the Japan market.

It is going to be interesting about my two work shirts... for $135 and $136, they need to be perfect. Btw, I am all worry now. Gustin said the same factory sew those Japanese brand work shirts.... wondering is Sky the one being bounced by Suger Cane....

Well, that's two KS pics from different companies that seem to show the postal is a lot darker than the G campaign pics. Interesting.
Either the lighter (G pic) or these are fine with me actually,I just want these things to FIT.
