Thanks dudes. Yeah I have a machine, but its not a good one, I lost my Bernina after a move so this is just a cheaper Singer and it struggles some with thick thread. The worst part is that it will make an ok overseam, but the underside usually looks wiggly, this make me have to sew everything "upside down" so I have to *use the force* to hit the fold on the edge on the other side. This time I put needles horizontally all the way as a track and trace since the fold is so narrow I couldnt really depend on something Georg Lucas dreamt up in the 70`s I mean we are talking about a nice shirt here

Now that is some fancy pocket stitching. That top pic looks like a pair you'd don on the way to Vegas.

Nice colors to these. I wish The Flat Head made shirts in larger sizing than they do though.

Love heaps of The Flat Head shirts but their sizing doesn't work for me either. Yeah, short length on these...great fabric.

I just can't seem to get the sizing right for Flat Head jeans, which is really frustrating because they are so nice. So my loss could be your gain, but I'm looking to sell a pair of BNWT Flat 3009s in a size 34.
Only tried on, haven't touched water yet.
Tags still attached.
Looking for $275 shipped.
Measurements, done BiG style:
BiG style: Waist: 34" Front rise: 11 1/8" Back rise: 16" Thigh: 13 1/4" Knee: 9 3/4" Leg opening: 8 3/8" Inseam: 36 1/2"

Just got a pair of the 2111 15th anniversary off iron heart's BST.
My first unsanforized denim ever. No cookie sheet of the correct size, so I'm just going for it, and hope I can squeeze in. Soaking starts in like 45 minutes.
Weird note: I was surprised that the belt loops weren't sewn into the waistband!

Their shirts look really short agreed. it's for that reason alone that I haven't tried any of their shirts. they look like they're made for incredibly small dudes. for a brand that receives a lot of hype by Westerners you'd think they'd do a better job actually sizing their shirts to accomodate Westerners.

Man... they have already started releasing size 48, in some of their shirts. The specs I've seen have excessive amounts of shoulder room. If they dial them back a bit, my wallet is in trouble.

They have some awesome colorways and styles but I'm not sold on the boxy short cut (as evidenced by the angry bartender) when IH's damn near perfect--for me.

I'm tempted to try a shirt from them. I find myself wishing some of my shirts were shorter. Seems they may be the ticket.

I've found that if you have a bit more in the shoulders you don't need as much across the chest. I always used to check p2p measurements first on a shirt, thinking it had to be up around 22". Turns out with a wider shoulder measurement I can fit a 21" p2p easy. For example a The Flat Head 7001 size 42 with a 21" p2p fits me great, but in Iron Heart I find their Medium shirts with p2p 21.5" and up fit me pretty tight and I prefer the Large. I realise this was a few months back you posted; did you take the plunge?

TFH is one a of a few brands I'm not quite ready to back without trying one on, first.

Decided to get the black with the recent Rivet and Hide sale. Forgot how stout these are when new.

Those look dope af! Hella jealous--I need some leather in my life I can't recommend them enough. When I get a chance and it's not raining the black one is going to get better photos. Highly recommend either one, you won't be disappointed (as long as you like larger wallets).

Who sells TFH jeans? Denimio and Self Edge both have a few cuts, but pretty light selections. Any Rakuten vendors of note? Finally, do they use cotton or cotton-poly thread?

Anything in the "F Series" is poly cotton, and also mostly zip-fly. Japan only stocks the ugly arcs with the blue ultra-suede inlay on the arcs for all new pairs. If this doesn't bother you, Japan sells every fit on Rakuten. If it does you have to go through Self Edge, Rivet and Hide, Tate and Yoko or Snake Oil Provisions. Pockets are fairly small and snug for a warning. I've always had good luck with 2nd on Rakuten, they have some older arcs still available. Some of the newer models use poly core stitching in some spots, I can't tell what mine have but I'm pretty sure it's cotton. I like cotton though, it ages better. I don't like a nice faded jean with very crisp stitching. It's a weird thing to be picky about but I like that my well worn pairs develop character everywhere, even on stitching. If you go for the Pioneer/original denim, they shrink an astounding amount.
