This shirt is painful -- but you can see that the "Western Shoulder Flaps" line up exactly from one side to the other, which I thought was kind of cool. Check out those snaps, though. Wonder where they get them. in case you would like to see the whole thing.
yes this is great, wild stuff, 50s style, shirt is pretty slim fitted. male part of snaps are universal, snap buttons seem scovill

3005 is definitely the better fit, although 3009 is kinda wonky. Smaller waist, but bigger thighs, and longer inseam. What's the 3002 fit? I couldn't find it on SE. 3009 fit is wonky?! You crazy man I forgot that these were unsanforized. The measurements are preshrink right? Using davito's link, it seems they almost shrink two full sizes, or do they mean inches? Which would make them more manageable.

the pioneer denim has crazy shrink - 2 sizes is possible from what i've read.
...but i have no idea what the stretch means from there.

the size 36 3002 does sound pretty perfect post wash. i'm assuming from other posts that you're a smaller dude than me. i went 36 in the 02 and it's a good fit for me with a 35" waist.

I have 34 slims on order to see if I should just stick with 35 slims. If I can get waist shrink to 1.5", and inseam shrink to 3", the fit of the 3002 looks pretty perfect.

I'm looking at the 3002s on Rakuten, and there's some price differences, but the descriptions are the same.

My 3005 for example tagsize 30 started 31" shrink down to 29" easy and stretch back to tagsize and even back to 31" eventually. Take care of your thighs in the slimmer cuts too. Yes it's the 14.5 unsanforised pioneer denim

When i had the 3009 i went with a tagsize 30 although it came a bit snugger waist/hip but thighs were fine and waist stretched.
The 3003 the 40s ww2 cut i got in a nice tagsize 31 (which actually fits my 30 waist great)

/\
Listen to this guy. Exactly my experience with the 3009s.
And this collab on SuFu is basically for people who've worn through a pair of 3xxx's already and are looking for some different fabric for their favorite cut. I'd recommend going with a Flathead 3xxx before jumping in on this collab, but that's just me. I don't think you'd be disappointed going straight Flathead right out of the chute, even though this collab has a collector/rarity thing going for it. RJB does have some insanely good denim from what I hear, though.

My wife would absolutely murder me. That Rumpled ShirtSin/Rip VanCrinkle yellow Gustin monstrosity shirt truly WOULD become my burial shroud if I were to buy another pair of jeans haha. All the jeans I'll ever own for the next decade are currently hanging in my closet or in production (the Sage Highlanders currently being made).

how do you contact one if you can't register an account? Contact Us at the bottom. Just tell them your ID and that you can't view anything after registering. worked like a charm. They let me in. Thanks! They probably wouldn't take too kindly to a bunch of one posters requesting the new fabric be made in 3002, would they? I think I should experiment with FH before joining in on a collab.

are all of the Flat Head denims on Rakuten different cuts of the same fabric? All 3xxx series are the same "pioneer" denim. I just searched Gmail, and it was actually "Frisbee" that I got mine from. I almost went with Bears, but passed since they sells theirs once washed. Frisbee is no wash: global.rakuten.com/en/store/frisbee/item/10004235/
