I notice I'm hard on crotches. ...that's what she said. It's true my ex would always say I was hard on the crotch as she stitched my jeans back to life.

Now when you say 4 months,i assume from the looks this is the only pair you're wearing daily for several hours a day? Just wondering since i myself have a rotation of several pair. And im lucky to get 1-3 hours of wear a week from any given pair at a time. Seems like it would take a while for me to see any real distress from any of mine.

Sorry, they are not my pair.... just found it on reddit. I am on the same boat and don't give any my jeans enough hours of wear.

Oh, oops.
I think on my next pair of N&F im gonna try to test the stretch, and size down to 34 and see if i can get them on and buttoned. Maybe then i wont have to worry about getting them tapered.

Some decent sales on Myhabit on Naked and Famous, including the same G's OKAYAMA GREYXGREY ($69) and couple others selvedge offerings. I have the same selvedge duck and selvedge chino (in different color/fit) and they are very solid in this price points. They are great for spring since not very thick. Very limited in sizing and check them out.

Just grabbed the grey chinos. Selvedge chino in great price. Bummer that my size was sold out (sz 30) or I would get a pair.

Hope everyone is doing well. I've been looking at the elephant 3 or 4 - I like the weft of the 3's and wondered if the indigo shade on the 3's are the same as the 4's? Thanks

From what I've seen, yes, 3's are the same color as 4's, just with the brown weft. I prefer 3's to 4's, but am now holding out for the 5's. The Heavy Softs are also worth a look if you're tonal averse like me. T&Y had the HS on sale for $150 right now.

Bentin - thank you very much. The 5's are slubby and also look very cool. I wish the elephant 3's or 4's had contrast stitching but from the fade pics I've seen, it doesn't seem to matter much once they've faded. The heavy soft's also look cool but I already have the G super heavies which I really like.
What size and fit do you buy in N&F vs Gustin? I'm a 33 slim in Gustin and the guy at BlueOwl workshop told me to get the 31's in weird guy which are a 33 waist as long as the thigh works for me.

I know I'm over a month late to the Nordstrom sale, but is there any other place out there to pick up N&F E4 on sale?

Ickes - that's what I said when I saw them. I can't keep myself away from the E4's or 3's for that matter. I may need to pull the trigger and buy them.

MiddleAge - what did you do for waist size? Pick the size that's an inch smaller than where you want them to be?

For the E4, my G size is 31 slim and it is very similar to size 30 Weird guy. (I decided to size up to 31 WG to have a looser fit)

On a related note, I knew Brandon Svarc owned N&F and Unbranded but didn't know he also owned Paulrose Productions and Tate+Yoko. Weird, wild stuff

The only thing keeping me away from the E3's are the fit. I have a 36 inch waist and both the weird guy and skinny guy have weird cuts which I feel won't work for me.

I really like their wild way of making crazy stuff, but they just don't fit me either. Every time I would put my one pair on, I would hope for different results. Then I would wonder how other people wear them. I also look at the fit pictures and I am like, "are those the same jeans? They don't look anything like that on me." I know we are all shaped a little different, but I don't see how they could have all of the standard cuts not really work for a lot of people like this. Either way, whatever. I am starting to think that I have enough jeans...maybe.

I think I'm going to gamble and go for the elephant 3 in 34 skinny from blueowl. Hopefully it'll fit my waist. Does anyone have experience buying from BOW?
