I have the Elephant 4's. Got em back in August. Those electric blue fades are starting to pop. They are 22 oz., yet they feel even more substantial. They're like armor. I have a pair of 23 oz. heavyweights from another company but the Elephant 4's feel even heavier. Beware that the slim guy fit is pretty slim. Did you do a warm/cold soak or a wash etc? I am curious if they shrink much. Looking at getting a pair. I have been watching for a pair of IH overdye which should look similar but haven't been able to find a deal on any so far.

I have been wanting a pair of black over Indigo Overdyes or indigo warp with a black weft as N&F describes, the fourth generation of the Naked & Famous Elephant 4 fabric clocks in at 22oz and features a super dark deep indigo warp with a black weft. Great color that will result in stark electric blue fades. Almost pulled the trigger on a pair Iron Heart 666sod but couldn't find a pair in my size for a less than retail price. These are 30" waist Weird Guy fit. The sizing specs online were different depending on where you looked. The waist measures exactly 30" front and back aligned. I can tell they will be 31" in no time as that is my sweet spot and feel good already. Specs measured after warm soak not worn. Some are hard to get exact as denim is very thick. 30W 10 1/4 front rise 14 rear rise 11 thigh 2" down from crotch 7 7/8 knee 15 down from crotch 33 inseam 7 cuff Couldn't find much info on how much they shrink so did a warm soak with no agitation. Agitation will usually cause more shrinkage. I did a warm soak on these as I am probably getting them hemmed and wanted any shrinkage gone. There was no bleeding in the water. They fit good overall before soaking but felt a hair loose all over. It is strange as the measurements are about the same as other slim fit jeans I have but these feel a little loose. I think it is because they are so thick and the denim needs to wear in a little. The most shrinkage was in length. Not quite an inch. None in the waist and about an 1/8 inch in the thigh, knee and hem. I am going to wear them for a while and if they feel loose at all do a hot soak with some agitation before getting hemmed. Then again they might not need hemming if they shrink any more as I am going to wear cuffed. I am wearing now and they feel great. Yes they are stiff but nothing crazy. Now if you weren't used to heavy denim then they would probably feel crazy thick. They have a medium rise which I like. The buttons on the fly were tough. Had to get my leatherman out to help button them the first time. Will post fits pics later. The black looks beautiful. The red selvedge is very nice. The black leather patch is great and you can't really see the N&F logo, unless up close, which is a bonus. I might have a pair of new 34" waist that I might be selling. Bought a pair for someone and they might not want them. I thought this picture looks kind of cool. Took right after air drying. Would be cool to wake up to something like this Christmas morning.

If my funding is not so drain, I would have gotten one especially when it was on sales....

I know but they're a 35 waist. I thought the 34's were a true 34. I guess I was incorrect. Thanks Bugala

Mine measure exactly 34 with the front and back aligned as well as it can as they are stiff. Curious if yours bugula are 34? Looks like you have Blue Owls specs listed. If they are the same as mine by all means purchase Bugula's as his were up here first if you do want to purchase.

the blue owl specs were correct for me. 34s typically with N&F are actually 36s, these sewed up smaller for folks. the measurement to worry about with these is the thighs, not the waist. the waist of the 34s would work fine for me but the top block's too slim.

You don't think they would stretch out if you wore them? I have been wearing mine for the first time all day and am really liking the fit. I have have double cuffed them and might not have to even get hemmed.

I wear size 30 in weird guy and it is similar to my G's 31 slim. N&F has lower waist and more taper below the knee. I prefer the N&F Weird guy fit more than the G's slim because of the taper.

Such an amazing deal really Yeah, the Kakis, Left Hands, Hand Dyeds, Jades, Blue Wefts, Twisted Candies, and Red Wefts would be in the "excited to get" column. Have a feeling I wouldn't even get one of those though...

Here are some pics of my Elephant 4 weird guy fit 22oz super dark deep indigo warp with a black weft after a warm soak. I don't think I will need to hem them ya! Still new so they still have some puffiness in areas but should tame down with wear. Love the color. My Lawless IxI Western shirt after a warm soak also. Instead of Johnny Cash the man in black I am in the man in Indigo!

Hahaha, great look! I wore my RgT ISC with the 3Sixteen shadow jacket and RgT dark Stantons last week and was repeatedly called the man in black by co-workers so be prepared for it.

I tried on those elephant 4s today and it was the hardest thing to stop myself from dropping $200 on them. So dense but comfortable, and that inkiness

Yes I think the Elephant denims are spectacular. You do not see anything like them from any brand really. I think N&F is a pretty good at stuff like this. My favorite brand is ONI who likely makes the best denim around IMO Im gonna post this new denim they came out with shortly
