You're going to love the Oni's even if they are too heavy for the Texas summer. Having owned a pair now for a day if you like denim, you gotta own a pair because they're so unique. Oh shit, I sound like Ickes!

Ive been keeping a rolling total of fashion related purchases this year. Ya know to keep control of my spending. Total $1551 and I didn't buy anything in Jan.
$230 for Samurai jeans $254 for Iron Hearts $180 chippewa boots $168 red wings
Adds up quickly. Thankfully I've flipped a ton of stuff on eBay this year most notably a $25 trench coat I sold for $350 and some blazers I flipped making $45 each on.
I want a bunch of crap from Japan. Oni's, a 33 and a 07 iron heart shirt. I gotta delete this account.
Hell I want more Gustin chinos.
Oni 527 20oz....gonna be hard to resist. Someone else buy them

I've been looking at those 527's. The cut measures very similar to a pair of old USA made wranglers I have. The tapper works well with dock shoes but I need to put them on with some boots. From what little I've seen about the Oni brand they release new stuff sporadically. I may have to take a chance they get more 288.

Awesome, shipping confirmed at ¥ 3,200 ($26) and on their way. This not waiting three months could become addictive.

My Oni 288 ZR is here in Montreal. But I'm in San Francisco for a week for a conference so I can't get my hands on it until Monday evening when I get back.

Punk ass bitches. Bentin, is there a The Fresh Market near you? They carry Intelligentsia beans. I have been buying from there (one down the block from my office) ever since I went to Chicago last October...

Ha, I don't like buying from inventory as the beans tend not to be as fresh. Ordering direct from Intelligentsia means they roast them the day after you order and send them out the following day. They just have stupid shipping charges. I order from Rusty's in Hawaii and Caffe Vita in Seattle and both charge half of Intillegentsia's rate.
I used to live in Orange County and got up to see my sister in Silver Lake often enough that hitting the Intillegentsia store there was easy between trips to Kean, run by one of the Diedrich family.

Guys - looking for your thoughts on the Samurai s710xx vs the fullcount 1109xx. Help me choose! Samurai's denim seems pretty cool and I like the heavier weight. But the fit of Full Count seems a little better. Both are cool, Ickes will suggest you get both. And some Iron Hearts.

I really LOL'd when I read this It's only funny because it's true! I've intentionally treated the Iron Heart thread like my best friend's wife. I try to only look at it when no one else is watching.
