These were 36. The measurements seem pretty close to what was shown on Rakuten, but I can't decipher what methods they use to measure everything. Yeah looking at the rodeo for chart they should be a 36.2" waist. There size chart might be post soak? |

My math says the Rakuten ones are not as tapered as the BiG ones. BiG says theirs the 575 are the 517 with plain pockets.
But of course the Rodeo Bros 517o doesn't seem to be the same weight, dye or selvedge.

Oni-288 jeans, size 38, have landed. Pure awesomeness. What a rich texture. This might be my best denim purchase yet. In no way do I think I will capture it by these phone images taken in my basement at night, but I will post a few pics to try. The total amount billed to my card was $194.22, which included shipping. I'd say that's a worthwhile purchase (pats self on back...). Perfect fit too. I can't overstate how happy I am with these. Where did you order these on rakuten? Rodeo Bros. They had a few sizes of these. I was lucky that one was mine. |

I have not asked them though, so maybe you can try. The Onis have a shorter inseam than the typical jeans, which are usually 36. The Onis come as a 34 (at least this one does). This was perfect for me, so I have no need to do anything. The Iron Hearts I purchased from them are a typical 36, but I did not ask them to hem. I might send them to AB Fits at some point. I really lucked out with the Onis being perfect out of the package. |

Thanks guys - I've asked Rodeo and will let you know what they say. I'm a bit shorter than you and need a 31 inseam so if they can do it, great, otherwise, I'll get it done
