yeah I've just been banking on "positive thoughts will win the game". Defense keeps stepping up we might have a shot, but Manning needs to get some throws on target if we're gonna win. I am unsure is it even a good idea to have Manning to shoulder the Broncos next year. He is really descending since the second half of the season. He should retire. It's that simple. It's over. Or coach.

It's painful to watch Manning in the last few games. Being from Indianapolis I will always be a fan, but I'm so proud of the Colts we have now. The next game will be a real test, it depends entirely on whether our defense shows up to stop the run.
I agree Manning should call it a career. I can't imagine they will have another legitimate chance. Go Colts!

ESPN just released the news that Manning was playing with a torn Quad during the last three games. No wonder he was not playing well and maybe he is not done playing after all.

I'm no Dallas fan, but that call was one of the worst ever - and it of course went in GB's favor. Total hogwash.

The ground cannot cause a fumble, but can cause an incomplete pass? Another thing is a "football like move" is so ambigous. Bryant caught the ball, took 3 steps, had the ball cradled in his arm, and then as he was falling forward, stretched out to try and score a touchdown. If that is not a football like move, then there has never been one. Whatever the official "rule" is, it needs reworking.

I have little clue about American football(*) but I bet the competitors in the Superbowl XLIX will be the same as in Superbowl XXXI .... (*) for me, football is rather two teams of 11 players each kicking a spherical ball and only the two goalkeepers allowed to use their hands

Kidding aside, I am a huge Liverpool fan.

Liverpool and Nottingham Forest are my two favorite clubs, just because they were successful in the late 70s, when I started watching football (er, soccer ...)
(my dad had no interest in any sports, so I had to find my own sides ...)

Wow, some of the worst defense play calls that I have seen this season. Unbelievable.

Some risky throws by Indy to get them down the field in last drive.

Honestly they don't have much of a shot. Their record against the Pats is awful.

Should have been a two td game by the half. Refs are letting the Colts roughhouse the Pats.

well I think it's going to be a great Super Bowl, can't decide right now who I think will win. Also can't decide where I'll go to watch the game.

The blame is going to Bostick, but blame should go everywhere. Conservative play calling back to back at the Seattle 1 yard line and throughout the game, prevent defense on the last two Seahawks drives, the boneheaded defensive set to allow the fake for the td, the boneheaded play by the db to allow the two point conversion, the potential pick 6 left on the field, Rodgers not getting anything going pretty much the entire game, not taking advantage of injuries to Sherman and Thomas..this game shouldn't have even been close, but even after forcing 4 turnovers, they put up 5 field goals to only 1 td, and that really did them in.
It's going to be a great Super Bowl for sure. I've been saying it all year, Super Bowl goes through Seattle, but I'll be rooting for the Pats. I want to see how Belichik solves this defense, which played pretty great for a defense that had to deal with bad field position for 90% of the game.

I think that the best two teams made it, and as much as I wanted the Broncos to take it, something happened to Manning somewhere around week 8 and nobody cares to admit what, but one of the best quarterbacks in NFL history suddenly forgot how to hit some of the best receivers in the league. Anderson, and some of the time the defense, are the only reason we still looked like contenders into the playoffs. It'll be interesting to see Belichik and Brady dealing with the Seahawks, something that probably should have happened last year.
I'm looking forward to the game, I think it's going to be some great football. You know, no safeties on the first play of the game sort of football.

So happy. Great to see the pats again in the Super Bowl. Third time in Glendale and this time we take it.

I have nothing in the game, so I'm just excited to see what seems to ACTUALLY be the best two teams in NFL play against each other. I'm just hoping both teams show up. Blowout Super Bowls are a drag.
