That's another way to tell the Dereks apart: I live in Portland, OR. Go Ducks!

I hope Baltimore wins cause I'd like to see my Broncos have a chance at the super bowl, but I'm really worried about a Seattle Denver super bowl rematch. I think the Broncos have a better chance at beating Baltimore than New England, but they're so weird This year it's hard to say whether they even have a chance tomorrow. They're certainly going to have a better chance in Denver than if they go to New England.

Great game - would have liked to see BLT win - and I'm not a fan per se, but Flacco is underrated. Off to watch the Hawks.

If the Ravens had passed less in the fourth quarter and ran the ball more, they'd probably have had taken this game. New England seems to be very vulnerable against the run, and the Broncos have developed a fantastic running game, with Peyton only having to play a game manager position, even though he could still light up the scoreboard. That is of course if they beat Indy.

There's a rough road ahead of them, starting tomorrow, so I know I'm putting the cart before the horse, but that's what this is all about, huh?

I'd just like to go on record as saying that this constant stopping of the game to review plays ruins the continuity.

This game is getting brutal to watch. Rodgers just isn't the same..But kudos to the Cowboys for at least taking advantage of it.

Get over it. He's the top QB in the league and makes millions. It's do or die. BFD - guys used to play like that every week. Ignoring the way late hit on Romo by Matthews...

But because players make millions of dollars today, players today are just so much more skilled, while being bigger and faster. If a QB loses a big part of his game, his mobility, then it gives the other team a huge advantage. He can't escape the pocket, and can't step into throws without pain, so the Packers lose a few dimensions, giving the Cowboys a big advantage. He does get paid millions of dollars, but that doesn't make it any easier for him to do his job. Players in the past got paid very little, and played through every injury (even cutting off a finger to keep playing), but the speed of the game is much different today, and injuries that slow down your speed drastically affects the game. Edit: To be fair, the point also applies with Romo, who's been playing the season with an injured and re-aggravated back. Romo is a baller for sure.

More to my point, I'm so tired of the media - Buck et al in particular, making him out to be a hero. Sorry, I grew up in that old school era and these guys sit out for things guys would have laughed at.
Bad calls too - I hate that. the "catch" at the end was clearly not a catch, yet GB got the nod. Happens a lot in their favor.
Romo gets less press for a back that he had surgery on. I've had both injuries, and Romo wins the manly-man contest.
*Note: No dog in this hunt. I bleed Purple & Gold. Always.

Both of these teams seem primed for a serious beat down by Seattle.

i'm often reminded of Broncos kickoff (when at home) by the warplanes flying over. "WHAT THE f!@k IS THAT?! oh.. the Broncos."

Sorry, I grew up in that old school era and these guys sit out for things guys would have laughed at. AGREED ! Born and raised in Milwaukee, my blood runs green and gold. Mr. Rodgers is my QB, presently. But, his predecessor will always be my favorite. The old gunslinger was old school, though and through. I went to a game, years ago, against the Giants. Favre got his bell rung, shook it off, and threw a TD pass on the very next play. They went in at halftime, and determined he had sustained a concussion. Now, that's playing the game.

Fran was awesome ! How could you not appreciate a guy called the "mad scrambler". No doubt, the greatest at making something out of nothing, and passing while on the run.

And on top of that, Favre got targeted by the Aint's in 2009 which took us out of Super Bowl contention. Still pissed about that, and will never forgive NO for it. Football isn't what it used to be...but it's still the best of the pro sports.

yeah I've just been banking on "positive thoughts will win the game". Defense keeps stepping up we might have a shot, but Manning needs to get some throws on target if we're gonna win.

I am unsure is it even a good idea to have Manning to shoulder the Broncos next year. He is really descending since the second half of the season.
