Wow, what an encouraging response from Roman and LD. I feel confident about my coming pairs; if that's the kind of feedback from LD then I'm sure that lots of guys will be diving in once this first big wave of shipments hits and feeds this thread.
Old26, I hear you and wonder if there's a way to flag the reviews proper or something and then people can skip through to see those and read deeper if they like. I do think that the follow up is a part of the 'review' if you will -- Roman's response here definitely is an important part of Univibe's experience and I think belongs with this review but there must be a way of flagging or something REVIEW and then FOLLOW UP or whatever. My 2c.

Yeah, don't take the criticism as bashing. For me - I always want honest feedback. Sometimes I can't get my wife to tell me what I know and I don't like that. I've blown it on $800 jackets, so a pair of jeans or a shirt, etc. don't bother me if I have to flip or donate.

@laura; Yes, Happy Birthday Laura. Scorpio eh?? Boy, Scorpio women...let me tell ya.....they are truly one of a kind (Right Roman?)... ...and it's the one sign I know more about than any other when it comes to the females as my ex of 5 years is a Scorpio. Which actually leads me to this fun fact that noone else will probably care to know ...my ex shares the same bday as Roman (11/11) but she was born in 81 which is probably just a few years after Roman....just a few... . So yes guys, Romans bday is coming up here too... Anywho, I totally feel like the highly intoxicated guy at the wedding reception who calls for a toast and ends up giving a speech that's entirely too long and full of drunken rambling....so I'll stop now.. Happy Birthday Laura.

I echo Ickes CS comments. it's been exceptional from Roman and lately Laura. Not sure about this DD guy though All kidding aside, I can't wait to receive my 2 pairs to provide a product review! Ickes - you're not gaining weight - it's muscle you're gaining! Is dirty denim working for lawless? Career change in the last month? If i am understanding this right, good for you dd.

I'm hoping for some feed back.

Most are saying everything turned out better than they expected. One guy said the only thing wrong with his jeans is the constant attention they bring him lol. I havent read any bad reviews as of now so its looking pretty good. The thing with most people is that they will tell you how much they love them but not know there are forums to express their appreciation. Most people do not do what we do

She's way better looking than I am too so it will bring the average quality of the pics up quite a bit from the usual "guy posting pants pics" experience Looking forward to these jeans.

Looking forward to womans point of view. What oz did you get her and is it stretch? 7.5 ounce waxed burgundy stretch denim (some percentage of spandex). Cool stuff. So far Lawless have been really good to work with, Roman and Laura in particular, very cool and responsive people. Haven't encountered anyone who wasn't helpful and courteous yet except for that DirtyDenim guy. Kidding! DD, huge congratulations on your move and new gig. There were a couple of minor email hiccups with the back and forth flow of info while confirming our sizing but it was handled really well. Additionally my GF talked to Laura one on one on the phone and some crucial sizing and fit info was exchanged, THAT was priceless help. We're going to be in Phoenix around Thanksgiving so we're planning to stop by the shop as both of us are really interested in checking out the brick and mortar side of Lawless.

Thank you for offering to post a review. At this point having people simply show they are actually receiving jeans ordered from us can help prove its all legit. People just cant get over the few reviews on YELP. It is strongly believed we are sitting on some island like a gambling site laughing at all the dopes who believe we make clothing. I seriously do not understand why someone would not want to take the chance Lawless would be a Homerun when the sale alone made it well worth the chance. Anyway I am on the plane now flying over Kansas I believe and pretty damn excited to see my wife & daughter.

i've been wearing my 14oz cone Orange ID for about a week now and thought i'd provide a small update (initial thoughts here) overall i'm really happy with these jeans. they're very comfortable, 2nd only to my pajama like gustin japan classics. any concern i had about the snug calves has dissipated with fabric break in. i'm curious what they'll be like after a soak or wash, but that won't happen for quite some time (especially since i get a custom inseam length with LD...no need for aftermarket hemming) the larger front pockets, more substantial pocket bag material, and easier to access pockets may be one thing that would keep me buying LD over Gustin time and time again. the only ding against this pair so far is a strange pouching/creasing that seems to be developing across the rear yoke. it's a bit more pronounced with a belt (which i almost always wear). the rise on these is ever so slightly higher than some of my other jeans, thus the center yoke-waistband seam is slightly longer...not sure if that extra fabric compounded with any downward pressure from my belt is causing it or not. it's not severe, and not extreme enough that i'd consider returning any jeans that developed the same thing...but if i had to pick an area for potential fit improvement...this would be it. i may try to get a photo of what i'm talking about tomorrow when there is more light, but it may be tough to photograph while wearing the jeans.

@david; thanks for the update. I cant exactly see what you are referring to in the pic but based on your description I think I can visualize what you are saying. My guess would be that it has to do with the rise as well. The one thing I noticed immediately during the KS campaign was how relatively high the rise was on their fit guide so I have had the rise lowered on all of my pairs. The updated fit guides did lower the rise a bit but I still might have them lowered on future orders.
