Woke up at 3am to go take a leak, then lo and behold.......... An email from Cristian saying my name is up on the list for a pair of Trooper Boots, in brown. Honestly, I had no idea they were still producing the brown ones! Well, even though I have the Role Club's on the way, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to at least get them home and try them on. If they happen to not fit, they will be up for sale here and on the IH forum; size 9D A boot in hand, is worth two in the bush.

Love the cardigan! And, the garrison shirt is in for a hot soak already. About 30mins more, and I'll start my air dry Mister Freedom...killer apparel!!!

The Midnight Garrison shirt shrank ALOT... Seems like a good fit, preliminarily, but I'll know better once it's completely dry. I wore it for about 30mins this morning while it was still slightly damp, but I didn't get fit pics. I'll have some for you guys later.
I'll do one more hot soak on my Olive Garrison shirt... If I can't get any more shrink from it, it will be up for sale... sz. large

Wow that sounds nice. But is it $400 nice? Probably not. But, it will retail for $280. Retail on the IHSH-154, which is the most comparable shirt I can think of, is higher ($315). No doubt, it's a lot for a shirt. But, I believe it's justifiable. At least, in MY mind.

I think it's unique enough to justify. "Gunpowder tea"...
Only knock I can think on it is all of the "pleats" around the cuff. Aside from that, looks awesome.

yeah the pleats around the cuff are not a good look IMO.

I have some Sugar Cane shirts with the same construction... It's not bad, it's just too "period specific" for most
