Those OSB wingtips are nice and may be an option for me. I've been looking for a pair of casual wear wingtips with contrasting sole.
As usual though I have a couple reservations, would prefer a commando sole and a narrow width.

So I just bought these shoes in grey: www.sierratradingpost.com/walk-over-edward-suede-shoes-for-men~p~113ya/I realize these aren't the worlds' most amazing shoe, but I wanted a summer kinda casual, but nice enough to wear to work shoe, MiUSA, not hugely expensive and I think it hits those marks. I don't know much/anything about shoe construction. Is there at least a reasonable chance these will be resoleable? At the very least, a cobbler should be able to peel the old sole off and glue something on, amirite? |

I'm considering joining this Enzo Bonafe GMTO as it's basically the same jodhapur, but with grey suede and a side zip, but I really just want to buy a pair of Alden Color #8 Shell Captoe Boot and a pair of Crockett and Jones Lindricks or Conistons in Navy Shell, and be done with boots/shoes forever. |

RE: Loden Yeah, I have been playing around with the quoddy configuration for 6 months trying to figure out a pair of bluchers and a couple weeks ago Unionmade dropped almost the exact pair I setteled on, only difference is I don't want the baseball stitching.  |

GMTO discussion going on at r/goodyearwelt about possible GMTOs with Carmina. They came out with some new styles, and a few of them just pop. A navy shell version of this double monk chukka was an option, and I'm so tempted.  Other new styles:   And my personal favorite of the group: Patrick U-wings.  |
