I want to like carmina but I just don't have enough occasions to wear them.
A bit too refined for my usual purposes.
I'm still hoping someone makes a chunky monkstrap.

Guess I'll just keep my mouth shut about those toes. One day you may get over your dislike for non-perfectly round toes, but today is not that day. I don't blanketly dislike non-perfectly-round toes, but the toes on those look like a bird beak and a ballet slippers had a baby. |

I like some shoes with longer toe boxes, but that chisel toe, Italian Court Jester look is not ever going to work for me. Longer toes tend to look more formal, like three piece suit, a Martini and a concealed Walther PPK formal. I have a one year old, about the only Bond I do right now is Bond butt powder.  |

Would look good on the pictured Renaissance man. www.catskill-moc.com/Mine are not as tall as these but are similar. Most comfortable footwear I have by far. The insole is ined with sheepskin. I don't wear them to work but do camping and for outdoor music festivals etc. They make a custom mold of you foot/ankle when you order them. They sell at Ren Faires. Take 6 months to be delivered but we're worth it.  |
