Gotta wash and tailor the buzz rickson original spec chinos. Can't wait to wear them. The beige is much different than the IH-707 which is perfect. How do the two fabrics compare? I'll let you know when I get home.

Ok here you go. Please take into account the IH-707 is a size 34 and the buzz rickson original spec chinos are a 36. The 707 appears to be a slightly slimmer fit than the original spec BR. But it's hard to do a direct comparison because the sizes are different. The iron heart is more of a pronounced twill line and feels a bit thicker. The BR are more smooth and feel more like a classic chino. I get a more causal vibe from the iron hearts.

Thanks for that brentkuz. I'm glad I went with the Iron Hearts and I will stick with them for my Chino needs as well. Yeah the iron hearts I like better. Better iron button for the fly and the rear snap for the back left pocket I love. buzz ricksons are very nice, great fabric little higher rise. True repros

That's what happens when you're trying to post things quickly before other people get in the office.

Anyone tried Buck Mason? Pricing and fit looks pretty solid, but the 32.5" inseam is pretty much my bare minimum and if it shrinks at all would be no bueno. www.buckmason.com/singles/olive-chino-pantsIn related news, their t's appear to have honest to god scoops. This may scare me off.

doesn't look too noticeable on the model, only thing bugging me was the white tee tucked into the chinos with no belt...

I have a few pairs of Save Khaki and have eyed those in person a few times. Looks similar to what Epaulet offers, both of which are a little light in color for my preference. My SK's are a little too casual for the office, the light material wrinkles pretty quickly.

Jomers has some lightweight stuff when in stock. I still need to hem mine but for $40 shipped it does the job for me. I also picked up an older TS demo fit pants but in 8oz fabric last week.
