Agreed, my Elko flannel gets a little tight in the midsection between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Not sure if the Chambray will be cut that way. Based on their comments on IG it seems like this one will have a little more relaxed (but still tailored) cut to it.

a new Elko flannel is available for Pre-Order. I'm tempted to buy this simply because their sizing works for me. I can actually fit in a straight XL. I'm getting burnt on restrictively tight shirting options.

I'm getting burnt on restrictively tight shirting options. I wear an XL in most shirts (except for IH) and I have an XL in this one too. Not sure if they have changed measurements at all on this run, but the XL fits me quite well. Loose enough to work in, but not sloppy looking.

They seemed to have made their sizing a tad more generous. Medium is a 43.5" chest. I feel like it was 42 before.

Edgevale's sizing charts have been a little hit and miss. Each item I have from them has come in a little under spec. If I back this one i'll probably order my normal size.
I just can't decide if i like the pattern or not. It doesn't wow me whatsoever, but the fact that it's MiUSA and $36 less than TS's Chinese product makes me want to buy it strictly out of spite at this point.

Don't like the patterns. Also, they changed the pockets -- they appear bigger, and have a pencil holder. It also looks like the sides are scalloped judging from one of the pics. Don't know why they messed with the last version as I thought they were perfect

Just checked the Edgevale site and 2 of the colorways from last year are back -- the sky umber and the red/white/blue version. The weird thing is they changed the pockets on this on as well as the button colors and then they actually embroidered that damned logo on the back of the shirt. I like the look of the new pockets and the button colors are fine but that damn embroidered logo is hideous and totally ruins the shirt.

Did anyone actually grab that Elwell Chambray back in the spring?
It's back up again. Debating on it again. Fit pics would be great!

No. Their new branding/logo thing has completely killed all desire to buy more of their shirts. Overkill imo

Back again to say that i'm drawn to this new Oak Flannel in mustard. not sure how i feel about 2% elastane, but with a $15 off code and MiUSA i might take a gamble.

I still wear my Elko flannels and they are my favorite lightweight shirts. I'm actually wearing my brown Elko flannel today. Plus, i'm interested to know how well this is constructed and how warm it is. It's a 12oz flannel and the only other companies that makes heavyweight flannels are IH and UES (that I know of).
If they brought back the Elko in new colorways sans the embroidered back logo i'd definitely buy again.

Hmm, that's pretty sharp. The blue and white is good too. Wish it wasn't brushed, but that seems like the norm for heavier shirts.

What size are you in their flannels? Their fit guide isn't exactly thorough.

What size are you in their flannels? Their fit guide isn't exactly thorough. large. Their shirts were cut kinda long if I remember correctly, but they shrank with a cold wash/hang dry. I think my Elko flannels all have about a 21.5" p2p which works for lightweight flannels. My IH shirts have to have a 22-22.5" p2p because of the thickness.

The fit guide is terrible. My elko flannel is a Medium, but it has shrunk some. These seem cut a little larger so i may try a small.
Too bad the discount code "BLUEOX" for $15 off has already expired. I sent them a message to see if they'll honor it.
