Thanks ickes. I found this site through the traffic report on our website from this morning. I had never seen it before, so I clicked it and stumbled on this cool little community. Thanks for the kind words re: our site / product line. W are actually in the process of redesigning our website and it's looking great. When we go live with the site at the beginning of November, we'll also have 20 new SKUs and a re-stock of the North Coast Shirt Jacket in all sizes. @david, the Japanese twills usually go very quickly. They didn't go on sale until there were only a few XXLs left, so hopefully that helps your FOMO. Our new flannels drop at the beginning of November. For fall we sourced an incredible cotton / rayon blend flannel that we are super excited about. We are moving away from Japanese twill until next Spring.

We absolutely love it when owners join our community and interact with the members here. We have a really good group here who are passionate and knowledgeable about selvedge denim and fashion in general. Please feel free to interact as you please, don't be a stranger. Thanks for the heads up on the upcoming flannel releases, I will keep my eyes peeled. Do you know what weight the flannels will be and if they will they have snaps or buttons?

Realized my initial post was a bit ambiguous: I have their flannel (red/white/blue on sale), and its solid. Hefty, and for me a great fit. I picked that off huckberry along with that north coast coat over the summer. All I can say about the coat is that its an awesome idea (a styled up softshell) but I haven't even put it to work yet. I moved so gotta dig out of a box soon, since the weather is turning. During their sale I loaded up on some yonder shorts which can take a beating.
Am considering those chambray's that are left on sale.
Its a solid brand, and in my minimal time, I've found the quality top. So tonyv good work.

Shoot, how'd I miss this until now? Looks like lots of stuff in my sweet spot. This could be trouble.
That lavender chambray is calling my name; just trying to decide between L and XL.

@david; ahh...you're right. I don't dig the logo on the rear shoulder either. Dammit...sorry to say but that's a deal breaker for me. Too bad, they have some nice pieces.

I don't mind it on the outerwear pieces, especially the North Coast soft shell shirt jacket coat CPO parka thing. And thankfully it's not on the chambrays.

Got my chambray in the mail yesterday. Wearing it today after a quick rinse and tumble dry (low) to get the creases out. Did not measure the shirt before or after, but I think there may have been a small amount of shrink. Fit through shoulders, chest, arms, and waist is about as close to perfect as I can hope for. I could go for a slightly narrower neck, a smaller collar, and another inch of front and back length, but none of those are too big a deal. Sleeve length is great for me, even though you won't be able to tell from the fit pics because I have them rolled up. Be warned that the sleeves are towards the skinny side, so if you have a more muscular build than I do, I would size up if you're in between sizes and wondering which way to go. Fabric is really nice. It had a little starch to it out of the bag, but that disappeared in the rinse. Now very soft. I'm guessing the weight is around 4-oz, give or take. Construction seems solid. Only a handful of stray threads here and there, and everything feels secure. Buttons are nice and substantial, and the orangey-brown wood-like color is a nice contrast with the lavender (Edgevale calls the color "orchid"). Overall, my first impressions are extremely positive. If this shirt holds up well, I definitely anticipate ordering more stuff from Edgevale. Here are a couple pics (with bonus dog photobomb in the first one):

I call that a good fit. That is a length that I like. Anything longer looks too long in my opinion.

I like my shirts a touch longer than some people because more of my height is in my legs than most people. That may seem counterintuitive, but my feeling is a slightly longer shirt makes me look more in proportion between top and bottom. FWIW, another inch of length on this shirt would mean the bottom hem would hit about three-quarters of the way down my fly. For most guys I suspect the length would be just fine as is, if not slightly more than they're used to.

Yeah, don't get me wrong; the overall fit is astoundingly good for what amounts to an off-the-rack shirt. It is in no way, shape, or form "too short". My desire for it to be a touch longer is purely because I have an unusual body type, and I wouldn't expect those kind of dimensions unless the shirt was bespoke.

Mattbert; Looks good but I'm with you, it's a touch short imo as well. I like my shirts to be on the longer side, but not GUSTIN WS long But good fit

I think Matt shirt has the perfect length if he doesn't tuck his shirt in.

I think Matt shirt has the perfect length if he doesn't tuck his shirt in. I agree as longer would be needed if tucking which I do with most button shirts except ones with heavy material. I also understand fit is a preference. Get whatever works for you.

Yeah I take that back, the length is about perfect. I just saw Mattbert other pic he posted on the WAYWT thread from a bit of a different angle and his arms don't seem to be lifted up as high and it does look pretty much spot on.

Might wanna take note that their buffalo check flannel is 8.5oz. I know some of you want some heavy flannel.
