Damn, I was sitting on sharing this until I backed my pair(s). Way to be more generous than I, @wils. I am definitely on board. If you watch the video and read up between KS and their website, they are making legit quality boots. With the craftsmanship, I'm probably in for that 2 pair offer. Let's see if it's still around in 2 days  |

Why wait for reddit..just buy em if you like em. What can reddit tell you if nobody on there has tried them yet. Unless you are saying wait till the boots are made to hear feedback from actual users. $190 is pretty good for horween goodyear welts & the Diplomat (Alden Indy) look pretty good

If they had shell I'd be knee deep in there! I just don't get drawn to cxl anymore... There's just no comparison, and I'm willing to pay the premium. But, that being said.... For $190 I'd wear the fcuk out of the black captoes!

Even they are not shell, $199 is a great price for the style. I just need to wait to hear more about the quality of the leather and sole from Reddit.

You have to be lucky with the size too. They tell you TTS, but don't all companies say that? Most of the time it seems like you need to size down, but who knows in this case. We need some test pilots.

These look much, much better than the Brooklyn Boots on KS (toe box way to clunky for the boots to be versatile), however, the soles appear to be knock-off Dainite, and some of the example pics show leather with loose grain.
These are kind of a cross between Aldens and OSBs. I'm with everyone else, the natural looks the best.

Unless you are saying wait till the boots are made to hear feedback from actual users. $190 is pretty good for horween goodyear welts & the Diplomat (Alden Indy) look pretty good they're sending of the guys from a footwear sub over there a pair to try out/review. probably be the first pair to have any sort of real remarks on construction, apparent quality, and photos from a variety of angles. i'm definitely considering a pair of the diplomats in natural. was hoping leathersoul might magically get a restock of ultimate indys in natural or kudu...but these are obviously tempting at less than half of the cost. the risk is obviously $200 that could have gone towards the indys if the diplomats would arrive and quality was underwhelming. |

It still has 745 pairs left.... need that Reddit review quick... And unlike the examples of plaid shirts on G, I'll bet that they send the most perfect of perfectest pair for review. Or at least I hope so. It will likely be a while before they are able to source good, solid, high-quality shell consistently . . . there are only so many horsehides, and it takes 1 horse for each pair of boots. |

I took the dive on these - for the price point, I figured I could swing a pair here - I opted for one, although 2 pairs seems tempting for $398. Diplomats in natural, but thinking a black pair could be nice. Quality components and clearly outsourced production that should get them assembled correctly.
