crikey. And I thought $350 was an excessive amount for jeans. this takes the cake. nothing against N&F though for selling them though, as they are r@re. funny how in the product listing it says, "Comes in Handmade jointed Pine Box." For $846 you might as well be buried in them in your own handmade jointed pine box.

These are nice. So, how many of you love these but hate the Cone Pima Fire from G? Please feel free to elaborate on how the untrained eye would tell these two apart.

Details look on par with Gustin yet the price is many times of what one would expect to pay for the best of the Japanese brands. Uh, I'm pretty sure Gustin has never offered a unique denim, something made specifically for them. This N&F is hank dyed and limited to fifteen pair. It's possibly overpriced, but when PBJ, Oni and others get $650+ and don't flat fell or triple stitch, I'm not sure it's entirely off base. As much as $846 for a pair of cotton pants that will quickly fade can really be justified. I'm not saying I want a pair or would pick them over the Strike Golds, Railcars or others that I want, but the only thing comparable about these to anything Gustin is that they're blue.
