also, a huge fan of the fact that that collar doesn't have buttons holding it down. It'd be sweet if Gustin could be convinced to do that with their oxfords, or heavier chambrays, or ANYTHING ELSE.

I dont know guys...to me the JHS WS doesn't have a great fit either. I think the angle of the photos masks the ill fit a bit. It looks very baggy around the shoulders and biceps.

You are so right in that the pockets on the JHS actually look good & makes total sense why G thought it was better to angle the lines. Without the slanted lines that shirt would be fine as well but also a bit flat looking. The wabi sabi may be a dif story but that we couldnt even imagine as a shirt so who knows

I am have a feeling that I will put the HS WS in my washer and dryer and hope for the best. Did that to my Grey Silk three times to rid the sheen but did not come out too well. Hate to pay so much for a piece of clothing and need to worry about the fit plus all this extra work. Make no sense.

Hickory Stripe looks great as far as I can tell from the photos, and I think he's got plenty of room to fasten that collar. I don't want an especially trim fit in my workwear. It needs to let me move and do stuff, not just sit there making my Adonis-like sculpted torso look great underneath a suit jacket.
IxI appears to be at least a half-size, and probably a full size, too big for the guy wearing it.

I have a regular size M button down Gustin shirt and it is definitely not as long and wide. Even his sleeves are long.

Even his sleeves are long. yeah, the length in those photos is what worries me. 6'/160lbs is pretty slim, so i'm not terribly surprised by a bit of slop in the fit. he's got 4" on me coming in at around the same weight. assuming 5lb/in of height, i'd have to be 20lbs lighter to have similar proportions. i expect (based on the fit guide) for the M slim to work well for my shoulders (and hopefully chest), and to have a bit of slop in the waist (known when ordered). i knew the length would be a possible issue, but if a M slim looks that long on someone 6'...i can't wait to see it on my 5'8" frame. no real sense in overthinking it too much now though. in a week or two i'll have a p.h.bone in hand and see what's up at that point.

bigblack not likely that anyone here can definitively answer that. some people with new accounts have reported the inability to see the community pages. others have reported lost access, but then eventually saw it again. not sure what's going on. best bet is to shoot them an email and ask directly.

It's weird because I've been on there multiple times but today has been no avail. happened to DigDug the other day as well for an hour or so. he was eventually able to get back in. they may be making some back end changes or a data migration of some sort causing issues.

I'm 5'11" / 165-70lbs. Since I wear a regular Large in their shirts, that is what I ordered in the WS (Japan Black). That IxI WS pic has me a worried about the fit.
Based on the pic, it looks like I will have to decide whether to hot soak or get rid... though I really hope not.

Even though I grabbed the Postal HB, the wabi sabi is what i am dying to see completed. I think it has the potential to blow people away & i hate that I was low on money when it hit

If anyone is unhappy with their XL slimfits I'm open to buy them. Full price they paid possibly more to make up for shipping. I'm really happy with the cut. I was worried this whole time but the one I picked fits me nicely

Aw damn, I don't know how ready I am to be judged by everyone here. I might tho later. To be honesty, I'm 6'2" 205 lbs. The shirt is longer than the rest of gustins shirts. I tried a large chambray and it was too snug in the arms chest and shoulders, but the slim XL fits outstanding. The extra half inch in the shoulders goes a long way. Might not be for everyone tho. I think it's the longer cut that I like most, however that's just me
