I decided just for the hell of it try it on without measuring. Everything fit pretty well except the waist, which was a little tight. Thinking of going to the supermarket to pick up a six pack to help numb the pain of trying to button them up. I couldn't button it all the way up because it hurt so damn much. Also taking them back off was a battle in itself. Left me sweating and gasping for air (I'm a little out of shape). You guys weren't kidding with the Beasts.

Yeah, i got 32 straight and the actual waist measured 15.0" on one pair and 15.25" on another and 16.0" on the third. I'm not sure the 15.0" will work either. I know the 16" won't. Probably have to sell 2 of the 3. No big deal though. That was the plan. Hope one works and sell the others with actual measurements.

If anyone gets an extra pair of straight or slim with a true 34" waist, let me know...

I got bad news today. Even though I believe I was one of the first to order, they messed up the inventory count and I won't be getting the beast grab bag. If any of you that ended up going for multiple grabs wants to unload one, or if you got something that didn't fit you, I'm looking for something along the lines of 31 slim measurements. I'm really bummed mine got cancelled.

Yeah, I'll have two pairs to sell at a very fair price and with actual measurements and bottle opener included. But I cannot post them for a week or so.

seth - I should have waited to buy them from you because your shipping costs probably wouldn't be $60

My tracking shows the package left San Francisco at 5:05 am yesterday............and nothing since. It should be at home when I get there, but I'm not holding my breath.

Glad to hear these are mostly size issues and nothing crazy like "cuff is not chain-stitched at all just left unfinished"

I found a package in my mailbox this evening, and it contained a pair of 32 Beasts.
First, the only real annoyance, was that my jeans shipped in the 5.95 flat rate envelope, but I was billed $15 for shipping. To give Gustin the benefit of the doubt, I doubt the larger pairs could have fit in the regular envelope.
Inside the package was exactly what I ordered, or at least within the margin of error we've come to expect. The waist is something like 16 or 16.5, depending on how I hold the tape and how tight I pull the waist. The 32 is hand written inside the waist, and the sticky tag inside the leg read 34. These are definitely not 34s. They're barely 32s according to the chart. Construction looks fine throughout. There are some spots where the stitching is a bit uneven, but I sort of expected that in an extraordinary weight product. It's clear that the sewers struggled with these.
Before putting them on, I threw them on my bed next to a pair of Super Heavies. From three feet away, the Super Heavies are visually a more interesting fabric, and if I could only have one pair of Gustins it would still be the Super Heavies. But I bought these because I really wanted to try some ultra heavy fabric, and I was considering springing for some Ironhearts. As a way of trying out this weight class for $70, I'm pretty thrilled with this purchase and feel like it was a great value.

After I thought USPS had lost my package, my heavyweights showed up today. My are #118, so the 23 oz. I ordered a 32 straight under the assumption it was going to be under spec and they certainly are. I didn't actually measure, but they were snug in the waist and at the thigh. It took some effort to get them buttoned up - not from being too tight, but there just isn't much give to them right now and the buttons do not want to go in the holes. I wore them for the rest of the day, and I'm really really happy with them. I actually was enjoying the weight of them in spite of it being around 80 here today. They are obviously very stiff and it's going to take a long time to get them broken in. I wasn't uncomfortable with them on, but it was a very different experience from wearing a 16oz pair for the first time. Because of how stiff they are, when I was doing bedtime with my 2 year old, when he wanted to be sitting on my lap while I was sitting on his bed, I couldn't bend my legs enough to create a normal 'lap' for him to sit on - so I had to take them off (to avoid too much disturbance in nighttime routines). I could NOT get the top button undone by myself, my wife had to help. And then, because I started working up a sweat trying to unbutton them, I was sticking to them and needed her help to pull them off too. They are not 80* denim for me, but there's no doubt in my mind I will be wearing the heck out of them come autumn. I doubt I would've backed a pair of these if they ever ran them again, but getting them in this grab bag was perfect for me. These were an absolute bargain at $85.

caleb - did you post on reddit earlier today? No, I've never posted to Reddit. I should probably look into that. Sitting here in the Beasts, I think it's pretty apparent that I'm going to need to have them hemmed pronto. I just need them 32" long, and they're currently 36. A 2" double cuff is comically wide, and a 4" single cuff isn't my style. I think I'm going to send them off to be hemmed right away, before soaking them. And guesses as to how much I should expect the length to shrink on these? I'm thinking of allowing a full inch, since an extra half inch long isn't a big deal, but a half inch short really sucks. I'm also with metals37 in thinking these will see minimal wear before next fall. They're just that heavy.

This is a bit off topic but there isn't a "stuff I bought from the stock store" thread....so.... I picked up some 15oz Zims and I'm positive they were returns for improper sizing. The thighs on down fit like 33 slim (over spec) and the top block is about 1/2" under 32 slim (under spec). I ordered 32 slims so I can make it work, I put them on for an hour or so tonight and stretched the waist from 32" to about 32.75" which is fine as I like a 33"+ inch waist. I'll get them there. Just posting this up as a buyer beware for stock store stuff, it might be in spec or it might be a return and be over/undersized. Old news to most but not everyone is aware of this and we have some new members. I wasn't worried about it at all when I ordered because if they'd been too far off I would have just listed them on ebay with true sizing and only lost a few bucks. OK back on topic......glad lots of you have scored 23/26oz that fit at a great price! This thread would probably work.

I too received the beasts. Travelling on business and will measure when I get home. My wife opened them up and said the fabric was beautiful but maybe not a great idea for the summer

My package was delivered in MA today (I'm in IN). Don't know yet if it's G or USPS fault. Apparently G set them to the wrong address. Someone in MA got free pair. I got store credit. That's fine. I want a HBone shirt. Just will have to wait.

Yes. They blamed it on the USPS. It had to be miss labeled.

Mine have apparently gone to France and I'm in Montreal. USPS says the package was labelled as France.
