And again, the Ts fit long! Much longer than their Slim Medium button down shirts. It's pretty much to my crotch with jeans.. So I guess you normally get medium button down. I'm xl for button down, but l for ts fit me much much better, even though the size chart says that I need to xl. Gustin definitely needs to work on the fit chart. For you, Maybe try small next time? Just a thought. Or it could be another typical Gustin screw up.

Anyone washing and drying like normal standard warm water and hot air dry? I will back some of these shirts but I want to be able to treat them like my normal polo T's. I don't want another item that needs to be washed on cold and air dried to prevent shrinkage.

I haven't noticed any shrink. But I haven't measured just put them on when I recieved them, Washed normally (warm water in a washer) and put in the Dryer (I'm guessing hot).

I'm between a classic medium and classic large. Should I size down to small, or go with medium?

I might just cancel my order altogether. I don't like hearing about how ridiculously long it is, especially when I'm shorter than sundevil.

it's not ridiculously long imo...
fits just right to me
the fabric just seems a little thin on the standard 5oz shirts.

I don't know Guys, on what size may work or if they are to long. For me they work, haven't noticed any shrink, I haven't noticed them being long. I took a chance on my first set of Heather gray, loved them. Backed a pair of Mavy Blue, backed some Whites. The one TShirt regret- I accidentally bought the Japan Splash Oatmeal T for $59 from the stock store. (Thought it was 9oz but read it wrong). I HATE IT!! And it cost $59!!!! Its ichy, pulls like velcro on my hair, doesnt hold its shape.... Anyone want to buy it make me an offer.

DigDug - mind meeting at a Starbucks so I can try your shirts on? I'm not a Starbucks guy, I'm a local coffee shop guy. So if you can get to Dippen Doughnuts? Sure

They were not long on me, fresh out of the package they hit at the top of my zipper. Definitely short enough to expose my lower back if bending forward, and too much of a shrink risk with laundering (cotton tees always are). According to DigDug's pic, I should have gone large instead of medium. I'm 5'10 and 165-170lb and the only size large I have from any company is a G chambray that I sized up and had tailored. Some people are sizing down, but perhaps I should have sized up. How confusing.

I just got my three pack of M crew necks. I didn't see anyone else say that they are obnoxiously long, but at least the ones I received are. They come down past my crotch rather than hitting between crotch and mid fly. Maybe they will shrink after a wash and be perfect. Otherwise they fit great. I'm a little disappointed that they are not 100% cotton and are some mix of cotton, rayon, and poly.

Though regarding the fit, I always found mine to be slightly too short (Medium, 6'1). On a side note my 10oz Japanese striped indigo has arrived at the post office, so might do a little write up on that.

I didn't see anyone else say that they are obnoxiously long, but at least the ones I received are. Weird, there is more than one post about people being disappointed in the length. I'm betting people's expectations aren't to blame, but Gustin's lack of consistency is. All 3 of my tees were shorter than I'd expected, brand new out of the bag. I sold them immediately (because G-credit does me no good when I don't want to buy their stuff anymore). For those who do like the tees: shop Jcrew's tees when they are running 30-50% promo codes. The consistency is much more spot on, you're likely to have the same fit across 6+ Jcrew tees than you will across 3 G-tees IMO. In fact, shop Jcrew Factory, as their quality is more on par (and better) than what you'd expect from Gustin, but never worse - and the prices are lower to boot, with plentiful 25-40% promo codes throughout the year. Tall sizes available, slim sizes available, up front advertising about cotton/poly blend %, more views of how they fit the average internet "model", and all around more transparency at the same price-per-tee as G when you're making use of their promo codes.

That works great if you're okay with non US made t's. It's just such a simple item that it seems amusing that getting a good one made here is so difficult. MeUndies works great for undershirts, but t's are harder to find. American Giant does a pretty good job though.
