Wife beaters do nothing for your pits tho. They let them breathe which may cause them to sweat less. I def. sweat more when I have a T bunched up under my pits and it will stay wet far longer than if I sweat into my shirt which dries quicker that a shirt with a T. Brentkuz: You are right. I'm trying to incorporate V-necks to try to combat the Pit Out, but... Northcoast: Is spot on, esp with the high armholes on many modern slim shirts plus the fit issues. Dammed if you do, dammed if you... Any stand out antiperspirants that also play nice with (don't leave residue on) your shirts? I saw a product that eliminates all sweat for about 1 wk (topical) but that seems too extreme for what is a mild problem.

Re: undershirts. Don't know if there is a thread for this yet, but I've had good luck with ribbedtee. They basically do a sleeved version of the typical A-undershirt. I quite like them. Long enough to stay tucked in, V neck goes low enough that you can't see the undershirt below. The grey is virtually invisible under lighter colored shirts. All in all, very happy with them. MiUSA too.

nate001: Thanks for the reminder. I remember reading good things about the company. I'll have to give them a shot.
Stinky: Thanks for sharing your experience. $4 seems like a steal to not have to deal with stains!

I did an AB last night with my new baby poop and my 4 times washed Moss and I could find little discernible difference between the two wrt shrink or sizing.
The new shirt just is not as supple. But it will be cold soaked in the front loader for 15 minutes to help it on it's way.

In my search for a denim shirt today I took an extra glance at TS and ended up ordering one of these in moss. Wasn't long ago I unsuccessfully was looking for a rugged olive shirt and this basically checks all my boxes. Now we'll just have to see how it fits on arrival and the search for the denim shirt will continue another day.

What is this deodorant and Anti-perspirant you speak of?

Honey mustard MS received on Monday, and wore it yesterday.
Great shirt, great color. It has kind of a class Carhartt color to it. Pairs great with demin.
The fabric feels slightly thicker than my black one, and it seems to have sewed up a tad bit roomier in the stomach area (no complaints here). Cuffs seems to accommodate normal human wrists well, unlike the recent reports of other TS shirts.
Glad I picked up this color--it looks great.
I wish they would do one with the same canvas but undyed.

Wore my new mechanics shirt out last night. Neck is a little big but the chest and shoulders fit great with just enough taper to keep it from tenting out. Looks like XXL might be my TS size.

Fit looks great. Wish they had the olive in my size. You have the exact opposite of my problem. Neck is always too big for these shirts, I wear a 16.5 ~ 17 dress shirt, so if I want to get the right neck size, the chest/shoulders/body will be too billowy. I should start a clothing company for sad saps like me.

I use Schmidt's natural deodorant. Works well for odor, doesn't leave any residue, and doesn't have aluminum or chemicals.

I use the tom's natural lemon. It's good enough I'm not a huge sweaty mess but def helps. Not exactly extra strength.

I love the cedarwood and juniper. I also enjoy the bergamot and lime, but that one is more gender neutral. Stay away from ylang ylang.

Have you tried the Lavendar and Sage? I haven't. Most places should have a tester you can smell. Let me know how you like it. Applying it with your fingertips can be annoying at first, but once you get into the habit it's not a big deal.

I'm not sure how coconut oil will do in terms of residue etc.

So you would recommend the jars over the sticks? What base are the jars? Shea butter. I can't recommend one over the other as I haven't used the sticks. My employee loves the stick, but I enjoy the jars and have seen no reason to switch.

I do keep some good ol' cancer-in-a-can Old Spice deodorant/antiperspirant around for those rare occasions when I'm going to be smelling really bad.

With the high armholes on G and TS I've given up on tshirts under them. I just bought a bunch of A undershirts (w beaters) and that solves the problem. I did buy some G undershirts to try and they work ok, but the A undershirts work best. I am in the same TS boat, Devastitis; the 40 fits spot on, but I fear any weight gain/shirt shrinkage. What size are you in Iron Heart? Sporting the wife beaters has been my solution too and they give me the option of undoing an extra button without showing too much chest off as well as absorbing sweat/odor thus getting more wear between washes. In IH, my ideal size is whatever is closest to 18.5" shoulders with a 22 p2p.

For anyone interested, I am selling my olive mechanic shirt. I wore it once and though the fit is spot on, the olive just doesn't do it for me. $55 size 40
