The end of a vacation is never fun. Especially when happy hour is cut short for the flight. But the good news is my mechanics shirt, Gustin T shirt and Ciano farmer should all be at my house. Well Ciano might be tomorrow actually.

Wearing my new moss mechanics shirt today, and it totally kicks ass. Basically perfect. OK, I could use slightly longer sleeves. But still, great shirt.

Glad to hear you guys are diggin the Mechanics shirts. Honestly this is one of my favorite pieces that I've bought over the past couple years of my recent spending spree I've bought some pieces that I later regretted and have sold quite a few, but the TS Mechanics Shirt is an instant classic IMO that. Right up there with my IH pieces and some of my Gustin pieces. Definitely in the top five of pieces I would recommend to anyone. Pick up the Moss one if you guys can too. It's a great color. I dare not pick up the moss too; I'm already going to have to cull my shirts. I think I've run out of hangers.

Any of you guys find the Machanics shirt a bit to long? I've got mine at the tailors being shortened. I found that there are some shirts that I just wasn't wearing no matter how much I liked them ( Wabisabi being another one). So better to gamble that the New Tailor can do it right them not wearing them at all.

So better to gamble that the New Tailor can do it right them not wearing them at all. I think there might be an extra button near the bottom, so even though they don't look longer than normal, they feel a little restricting, as if they were longer. It might also eventually lead to a "around the stomach" wrinkle. OK, fine, I just got up to check. Eight buttons on the mechanics shirt, seven buttons on all my others shirts. I guess I could just not button the bottom button. (Just kidding, there's no way I could bring myself to do that.)

For me it was a bit long (never counted the buttons, good call, confirms my thought). Not Buttoning the last button..?... Don't think it would change the look of being to long. I know because I usually don't button the bottom one. We've debated the bottom button before, but never came up with a diffinitive answer. I Think that should be our next poll.

Yeah I totally agree it wouldn't change the look (except it might prevent that wrinkle), but for me it would feel less long. I actually like the length, weirdly enough, I'm a pretty tall guy.

I got a moss 42 shirt.
Awesome fabric sturdy but not rough. Buttons kick ass Sizing is good but a bit tight in the waist more motivation I guess. Bottom button is strange and I won't be buttoning it.

The 8 button thing is apparently a TS signature feature. Same deal on their Oxfords. That last button is lower than on most shirts. I think it becomes optional. Great for tucking in, sometimes works out odd untucked.

Sigh, everyone seems to have received their mech shirt except me. And they won't pick up their phones or respond to email.

My USPS tracking still says pre-shipment. But that could as well be a failure in their system.

I just want them to confirm the size change from 38 to 40, otherwise they might as well not ship it. Getting kinda frustrated with their CS. With Gustin I received a response from Stephen Powell ten minutes after I sent an email, and a resolution soon afterwards.

They handled all my questions promptly up until a week ago Monday. Since then, it's been dead silence. It's a little disconcerting. Also, I ordered something from TS and accidentally clicked pickup instead of ship. They originally asked me to email my credit card information like number, security code, and billing address, and I told them I'd rather call in to have that done. I've been calling every few days since with no one picking up.

Wearing my moss mechanic shirt right now. Moss pairs awesome with indigo denim. Wearing lawless 18.5oz Kuroki denim with it. Love it.

I'm never going to see my mech shirt at this rate, and I have a half a mind to cancel all my orders. Edit: I just called and instead of being routed to TS's voice-mail, I was routed to Mina Aiken's voice-mail. I guess that's an improvement, which is nice.

Man that's strange devastitis. TS customer service has always been top notch for me. Well Mina is in charge of the CS at TS so now that you have left a message to her direct line you should get some help.

Exactly, they were really helpful and timely in their responses until about two weeks ago. Since then it's been nonexistent. And now I'm worried because I need to change the sizing on a bunch of orders, one of them being the Mech shirt.

like everyone else, i've had pretty great response times from TS CS...though i've had no reason to contact them in the last few weeks.
