Out of the Hot Dryer. So I think it did shrink down to size. Compared my Mechanics shirt PxP, both have 24.5". I think once the fabric wears and settles down it'll look and feel better.

DigDug it looks big, but not comically so. definitely not a trim fit, though that's fine with a piece like this. the crazy thing is that's the size after a hot wash and dry.

does anyone have swift mills denim utility to compare sizing or is it really that much bigger? I do and I'm pretty sure it's bigger.

Looks like I would be a 42 in the ISC. Wish I backed it in the workshop! Maybe one in 42/44 will pop up for sale.

I'll live vicariously through you. This shirt isn't needed in my wardrobe. It would fill the same spot as my ihsh-62 &33 basically. No need.

Thanks for that. I've tried mine on like 6 times and I cant get over how the pocket like gets sucked into your pit. I believe that it will get better over time, but I don't like the shirt enough to put in the time to get it there. Too wide up top, does not drape well, do not like the tight wrist sensation and it feels more like a super tight shirt jac but it has no insulating value. Ok, I talked myself out of it. Exchange imminent.

This. Wish the pocket was sewn 1/2" in, closer to the placket. I'm just going to beat this shirt. Oil changes, paint, attic insulation, washer, dryer, etc. in the end it'll be my favorite shirt that I hate.

^My request is pending, thanks for the help.
I just looked at the product page again and noticed that the models shirt was def. broken in AND there are no shots of him wearing it head on.
Ah well. Swing and a miss.

Stating the obvious here but if it fit better/right it could be a nice shirt. So if I had sized down, all would be well.

So, mine fits about the same way out of the box. I think it will look a lot better after 5 - 10 wears though. Are you planning to return yours? I'm leaning towards returning mine.

Damn looks like I would have been a 42 in this shirt. Every time I think that, my gut reminds me that no, I should get the extra room. Heh.

44 hasn't shown up yet. But my 42 Mechanics shirt reminds me of the need to lose weight whenever I wear it.

I am right on the edge with TS workshirts as far as sleeve length being exact, but when you combine it with the super tight cuffs it's correct.

I've subsequently gotten the TS work oxford and chore shirt in 44 and after a wash & dry, they fit great. But I don't go for a super fitted style, find it bothers me in the shoulders.
