You can see the impact that has happened due to the main supporters of Gusting coming here and looking elsewhere. Now, that may not impact sales at all, but I think it was hubris that basically ruled in SF and said those podunks' opinions don't matter. Well, they had a nice loyal base of guys here and I feel like in the end, it didn't mean sh*t. I could be wrong... I feel like they lack of communication on the community page & then not taking part in the Q&A here says something about their feelings towards the people that basically ran the forum for them. They comment on Style Forum more than they do in their own community where people follow Gustins every move.

they're also fairly active over on /r which is strange because they're not very well liked there.

I thought we were going to have a live q&a & then Cody got sick so his response has been delayed a few days so far

so it looks like a great shirt, but can someone help me understand why we're fawning over the Yosemite shirt? Looks like a great price for what it is (ooooh grey), but just curious why it's the bestest ever.

Is it sad that I judge other places by how well they describe the fabric after dealing with Gustin for the last year?

No, I found myself disappointed that they didn't include the weight.

and is it reasonable to assume that after a number of washes and wears the blue one will look like the one in the picture with the fedora?

No, I found myself disappointed that they didn't include the weight. I usually look for the weight as well BUT its when a brand doesnt give me the damn hem measurement that gets my shit all tied in a knot. I mean why give the waist & inseam but leave out the damn hem.

From their journal: "We have worked with the same Portuguese mill for four years to continually produce the same incredible chamois fabric. So yes, this shirt is still as soft and as warm as it has always been. In fact, the mill told us last year that it's machines were capable of making the fabric just a touch thicker, so we took them up on that."
So it's a little thicker than all the stuff that exists from previous years... I don't tend to like fuzzy looking stuff, like microfleece or whatever, if that has the fuzzy side out I gag a little, so I dunno if chamois is for me.

Changing rust to blue after much thought.
Ickes I'm not sure what size to pick 40 or 42 I'm a 42" natural chest. Large in Gustin.

brentkuz; yeah that's a tough one with this shirt...I would say if you're going to layer it a bit go 42...but if just a t shirt underneath go 40. they have a great return policy so maybe get one of each and return the one you don't want.

5'10". So I'm looking way too much into this.
Depends if I want to wear it as overshirt or base layer. Sorta looks like it is more of an overshirt/CPO type item to wear.
My jcrew CPO is a 45.5" chest 19.25" shoulder and I wear it as an over shirt.
The 42" chamois is a 46.25" not too much but with washing it will probably shrink. I'm still throwing it around.
Can't wear red gonna switch rust for navy.
