I was going to post a picture of Ronaldo to explain my dislike of Portugal, but I got lost in Irina Shayk pictures instead. What were we talking about again? How I very much dislike my ex-BIL who is Portugese, but taking this any further would imply the use of a broad brush so I'll just stop right there and leave you with this instead.

I'm talking about everything though. Fall/Winter/summer....nothing very good in a long time. They have had a few interesting pieces I thought, but definitely not as good as before. I don't know how you guys can hate the Yosemite though. If you don't have one you should absolutely buy one. Best shirt I own. They look like great shirts, I'm just not into fuzzy clothes.

Well, I have 2 chamois shirts (what I think the Yosemite is) but they are Carharts, about 15 years old, but run a little big. SO yeah, I could def. use one of those Yosemite's, just have not pulled the trigger on them. And since I have been watching the clothes scene the past few years, I think TS is the only company that is using that fabric that I have seen, which is a shame because chamois is great stuff.

The style of the Yosemite looks virtually identical to my Elko flannel by Edgevale which is made in the US. My Elko flannel is my best fitting, the only drawback is that it's only 5oz (but still plenty warm) and the damned hangtag on the side of the shirt which can be easily removed with scissors.

Anyone have any experience with thE TS tee shirts ? There's plenty of offerings out there at similar prices.
Any info appreciated, particularly regarding the neck, cut fabric etc. would really be interested to know how they stack up compared to some of the other better brands such as 3sixteen, pistol lake, Buck mason , velva sheen etc

New Crater shirts look decent, but why is there such a discrepancy in size charts?
These don't have shoulder measurements, but the jackets do?

I don't own it but I have felt and touched it a lot whenever I visit the store. I think the cut is a little trimmer and fitter compared to Gustin as I tried a L/XL last time i was in the store. I think a couple of people on here have it. I can't compare to the brands you listed as I don't spend that much on white or black tees (i just get gildans lol).

They don't stack up at all compared to any of the brands you mentioned. Buck Mason btw has the best lightweight fabrics I've ever tried, I love the fabrics they use. However I cant quite get the fit to work for me

However I cant quite get the fit to work for me Haven't tried Buck Mason, but honestly the Ciano T's are excellent. With shipping I think I paid $16 each for them. For the price they can't be beat. Comparable to older American Apparel with perfect stitching and softer to boot. Edit: Tube knit and MiUSA if that matters to you also.

I really want to love the Buck Mason T's overall. The fabrics are just fantastic. Their slub venice wash is probably my favorite of the fabrics but the regular slubs are very nice too. The fit and cut just doesn't quite work for me. It's not terrible but there's a little dick curtain action going on a la Gustin button downs, and the sleeves are a little short and wide. Also, the fabric is very stretchy so if you wash and hang/lay flat to dry you can gain about a size on them. This can be good or bad. Conversely they will shrink up a bit if you throw them in the dryer. I actually have quite a few of them and I kept them because I use them to just wear around the house at night after a shower or something....they're so damn comfy. I want to give the Ciano's a shot but the sizing had me a bit puzzled and I believe they shrink quite a bit after a wash? hopsbreath what size did you go with on the Cianos?

I'm a 46 in Taylor Stitch and a XL in Gustin T's for reference. The Ciano chart was off the first time IIRC but he posted an updated size chart that was pretty accurate as far as I can tell. I could have likely squeezed into a L but it would be TIGHT. Aren't you over 6' and 180#'s? I'd expect a L would do you fine if so.

I pre-ordered both of the herringbone mechanics. When I heard they were up on site, I figured I'd be getting a shipping email, soon. Nothing as yet. So, today I checked my order. Turns out they were shipped on the 10th, via FedEx. Scheduled delivery is the 16th.
What happened to the good ol' days ? You know, when you got a shipping email, your stuff was sent USPS priority, and you'd be wearing it 3 days later.

Actually, that can't be it. I received mine via USPS in the same classic box that can easily hold more than one Mechanics shirt.

Same boat with me. I saw they were in stock so I emailed them about it. Hayley quickly replied saying it'd ship in the next 72 hours and with tracking email. That was 03/09; 144 hours later, I still have nothing. This happened with the tan glacier and one other recent item. As a G, CF and TS customer, I'm more than capable of waiting; it's the lack of updates/communication that drives me batty. Ebbets Field Flannels falls into this category as well.
Maybe I'm just a mail order masochist.

My post got lost in the mix in the other thread.
Indigo Stripe Jack was delayed about 3 weeks. Good CS from Mina updating me on the order before i even asked about it. It finally ships this week... FedEx Ground. With a 9 day delivery window. I don't mind delayed shipments, i'd certainly rather them take their time than rush it. But don't make the customer wait even longer. Every other TS order i've ever made has been shipped either priority or 2-day. Curious why they'd go standard ground with a new release.

TS has a live Q&A with Justin Lehmann...and per the ad "Ask Justin questions about living in Nepal, his thoughts on our latest collection, or anything that comes to mind." - Anything? Like "What do you think of TS moving production of their clothing out of California?"

Or just 'with J Crew, Alex Mill and others bringing more production into the US, would you say your timing is just bad or you're totally deaf to the market?'
