Does anybody have any experience with this brand? Anybody own any? I've found some pairs on Rakuten and they look like some nice jeans.

That's a little too far into Palladin's Secret Tryst with the Hooded Ranger's Concubine for my limited D&D experience.

Haha, I'm just off on a tangent after some senator attempted to legalize weed in Texas today. I was just making fun of the name, it's a little goofy.

It's surprising IH, Oni and Momotaro are not listed in the top 10. Informative nonetheless.

There's a pair of Oni there under Oni Shoai. I think the article was trying to focus on more unique or rare brands with special characteristics.

broke out my Skull Pimas this weekend to start breaking them in during a break in the heat (back to lighter weight Whalls today) and really liked 'em. there are some great photos of the Pimas once broken in and i'm really excited about seeing how they progress by year's end.

I finally picked up a pair of Skulls. Got the 5010XX 6X6 Indigos. Fantastic pair of jeans. 14oz ish I believe?? pima cotton, very minimalist design which I like. I also like the red tab on the pockets a la Levis. The pair I received had been soaked by the previous owner so I can't state what the fabric felt like in raw form but I can say that these are extremely comfortable post soak. They have a feel similar to the Pima fires but even a bit more luxurious. great color.
the few knocks on these are the very low rise which is the absolute lowest I can go at 14" on a tag size 33, and the very long inseam at 37.5" post soak. I will definitely be sending these to Railcar for hemming.
great pair of jeans though, good slim straight fit, good construction, very comfortable fabric, and a great Indigo color.

Ok I take the Pima Fire comment back. They are extremely comfortable like the Pima Fires but the warp has a crispy yet soft feel to it at the same time. Hard to describe....a bit like Zimbabwe cotton feels. I highly recommend you give these a try. Absolutely no pain involved in stretching these out at all yet they drape well and maintain a good shape to them. Also somewhat similar to the IH 21oz Flagship fabric.

ickes out of curiosity is that 14" minimum front or rear rise? that seems really long for a front rise...i'd feel like my jeans were up under my armpits with a rise like that (slight exaggeration of course)
