I recently discovered my bedding might not be up to par with my true baller status.
But really I conducted an exit poll of 50 woman 18-35 and 70% thought my bedding could get upgraded.
I currently have discount store pillows, Marshall's sheets and some old cheapo comforter and a fleece blanket thrown in the mix for colder days.
What do you guys have or recommend? I would love for some good sheets and blanket but every where I look I'm more confused.

I think you are focusing on the wrong topic. (back to your topic: my wife takes care all our bedding needs. I look at it almost like our denim hobby and it is all about the color matching, thread count (higher is better), type of cotton (no Zim, sorry) and hand feel. One trip to "bed and beyond" or Macys or even JCPENNEY is all you need. Btw, no need to worry the fit or length since they are standardize (except you have some really thick mattress than you want to pay attention to the fitted sheet)

Wife and I are ready to get another Tempur-Pedic. We got the top of the line 15 years ago and it's now ready to go bye bye. The best money we ever spent was on that bed. The next one is likely going to be TP again, but we'll look at others to see what is out there now. When we got it the first time, we tried all the top beds, and none of them made us happy like the TP. For bedding, in the fall/winter we use flannel - usually Ralph Lauren or other high-end stuff. It is the single best cold-weather thing you can do. Also, quality (expensive) down comforters. You can get different weights based on your climate, and what makes them great is warmth without weight - layering lots of blankets is cozy and all, but we find ourselves overly hot at night once we settle in. Down tends to be more generally comfy for cold. Summer/spring we use high-end cotton all around. And lighter blankets varying in number based on temps. We love old vintage quilts, so we have a bunch to choose from there. If you have a mate/spouse, the problems can vary widely trying to make two people cozy at once... good luck!

I can't do the tempur pedic they just don't give the bounce I like in a bed. Felt like quick sand.

Wish i had a sleep number bed with articulating head & foot.
I prefer a softer smoother Egyptian cotton instead of high thread count sheets.
Only use a sheet to cover up except for a handful of nights each year. Doesnt get cold enough inside the house for me to use much more. Never have to use a comforter or any heavy blanket. Just a sheet and light blanket.

We both like to turn down the thermostat low at night, we both sleep better in the cooler Temps. On the other hand it can be a little cool going to bed so we have a mattress pad heater which is amazing. Especially from coming outside and it's 20 below F. I turn it on about 10 minutes before going to bed and hop in and it's nice and warm. I usually then shut it off unless I'm chilled for some reason. If I fall asleep and accidentally leave it on I will wake up in a sweat.
We have soft flannel sheets and down comforters. We both like to bury ourselves under the covers. The only thing I know about pillows is you should replace them fairly often.
I am lucky and can sleep on most anything. We did it go with a decent pillow top mattress from a company, The Original Mattress Factory, that makes them in our area. Very reasonably priced.

I still have my ugly ass blanket from 30 yrs ago with a giant graphic of a lion on it. My dad bought it for me in South Korea when he was in the military. I don't care how ugly it is, it's warm.

Nice diggy. What does that set include? We have a King, so I think it cost $120 for a fitted bottom, flat top sheet and 2 pillow covers. They have a good return policy. I believe you have a 30 day trial.

i've gotten bedding from a variety of typical places, the the last two sets that i've gotten actually came from costco. i don't recall the name, but they have remained very soft.
i always have a down comforter on the bed. ikea has a great selection of comforters (down and synthetic) in a variety of fill weights and shell qualities. my only gripe with them is that they're a bit off from standard sizing...so you either have a bit of slop when using a standard duvet, or you use an ikea duvet (i started out doing the former, and over the years ended up with the latter)

We go to Macy's when they have killer sales. They practically give stuff away at times - esp if you shop off-season, which we do.

But wait, I thought you were one of the ones complaining about Gustin operating off-season... I buy things for the house off-season all the time. Clothing I do as well. However, that is a choice and it's always with great savings. With Gustin, I don't have a choice when I can buy something and receive it for the season I want. And Gustin does not sell off-season for a 70% discount. Apples and oranges. And it's not a Gustin-only complaint, I've made it about other companies as well - maybe not here.

I'll also buy off season but it needs to be a smoking deal. Bonobos I got off season oxford cloth dress pants and a bathing suit for $19 each. Down from like $60 and $90.
I looked into linen sheets seem nice. Dig I might have to give that brand a shot

I make money on every flip I do that way - it funds some of the new stuff and is kinda entertaining as well.

I absolutely love the idea of using <a href="https://www.fabdivine.com/collections/block-print-curtains-and-drapes ">block print curtains</a> to enhance outdoor spaces! They add such a beautiful and artistic touch while providing privacy and protection from the sun. I recently installed some block print curtains on my patio, and they instantly transformed the area into a cozy retreat. The vibrant patterns not only look stunning but also create a relaxed atmosphere for gatherings. Thanks for sharing this great insight on how to elevate outdoor decor! I can’t wait to explore more options!

A bedding thread is a place to talk about blankets, sheets, and pillows—people share advice, brands they like, and tips for getting the best, most comfortable sleep setup.
