Is it really that hard to find a non MiC suit? probably not, but it fits me so well OTR with retail locations everywhere if I need to make a return that I'd rather not go anywhere else.

Just waiting patiently to see if my orders went through. Out of the things I bought, I'm only really looking forward to the charcoal worsted wool suit and the Alden flex toe chukka in snuff suede. Kicking myself for not adding the Traveler Suit in Light Charcoal to the cart. Yeah, you'll probably have to go naked 1x per week due to lack of clothing. Probably.

Is it really that hard to find a non MiC suit? Back when I was obese (according to my BMI), and worked a job where I had to attend board meetings monthly, I invested in numerous italian suits. Then I quit my job, started my own company with a few partners, and went from a 48/50R to a 40R. Now I can wear whatever I want, and all of those David-Byrne-Stop-Making-Sense suits and my 18-35 Borrelli/Canali/Zegna/Armani/etc. dress shirts that I accumulated over the years were suddenly worthless to me. So when I need a suit to wear 3 times over the next 2 years to attend a wedding or meet a banker, there's no shame in hitting up the JCrew outlet for a $200 suit that may be MiC, and may not last as long, but it fits great and looks great.

If anyone lives in or near NY, ePaulet's Brooklyn location is closing down and having a cash only sale. Apparently their tennis trainers are included in the sale and going to be heavily discounted. And no, no Aldens.

All my suiting needs were filled up in the past two code glitch sales. Maybe this time I can for real be done with shopping at Jcrew. I literally have everything I want from them.

Any idea where to buy custom suits for a good value? I don't fit the 6" drop so jomers and j crew won't do. I'm more like a 9" drop

Am looking at indochino and jos a banks but don't know too much about suits I'd pass on Jos A Banks, and I haven't heard good things about Indochino. SuitSupply's outlet is open, code FIRSTACCESS, but you probably don't know your sizing for them. Another brand you could look into is Spier & McKay. I've only heard positive reviews about them, but they're located in Canada, so you're on the hook for international returns.

Alright thanks. I know I'm a 42l for suit at j crew who uses same maker as jomers and suit supply They use the same maker, but they have different cuts. Reason why I love Jcrew is because of suit separates, and their Crosby fit. I'm a 40S in their Crosby jacket and a 34x30 in their Ludlow pants (Crosby is a little baggy for my tastes). In SuitSupply Napoli, (which is also the Jomers fit), I'm a 42S in their jacket, but the matching pants are too small in the seat or thighs. So quality wise, they are all about the same. But vastly different cuts.

I'm more like a 9" drop I think combatant gentleman is doing MTM, construction is decent for the price, which is pretty reasonable. as far as made in China, they do well, I only bring it up assuming a concession has been made in mention of j crew. Otherwise you have the suit supply's and... One more I can't remember.

I want to like those, but I think I'd have to buy it in person for fear of this sort of disaster.
