I would probably sleep with them the first night. I just looked in the window on Jermyn street because I could not bear to fall in love with a 1k + pair of shoes, nor deal with the salesmen. |

That toe is turrible. Because it's captoe or because it's slightly squared? The smashed toe, cut to a comically unnatural shape and the monk flap is too stylized. Just all around ugly, and Green makes georgous shoes, just not this one. If these were on sale, we'd be talking.  I suppose I wouldn't mind if that were a cap toe, but I tend to prefer a little broguing for caps, and that would kill the clean lines of this particular shoe. |

The finish on the neckline, between the plunge and the weird fold over for some of the Ludlows, I just don't care for. Then there is the whole thing where rarely does the entire suit go on sale OR the jacket is available with no matching pants............ |
