Figure start a cologne thread since it is most definitely an accessory. I have a good amount of standard EDT and EDP's but looking to get into more niche frags.
What are you gents wearing?

I don't know if it's a niche or not, but I love the A men line from Thierry Muggler. I hear that Creed is about the best you can get.

i know you're supposed to have more than one scent but i so rarely put cologne on, i only have JF by Floris. their fragrance notes are spot-on - the juniper and citrus jump and work well together, the bergamot gives you a great splash on scent that wears off. it's incredible how much a scent changes once you've worn it for 20min or so and it's mixed with your chemistry. will also add that i've been using the citrus beard oil from beard brand lately and that's acting as my current scent. oh, and if you like smelling like gummi bears, old spice's wolfthorn deodorant will do the trick.

Gilette Cool Wave Clear Gel.
I'm married and have been for 17+ years, so my need to smell anything beyond 'clean' passed a long time ago.

Jo Malone Saffron or Amber & Patchioli. Nice and clean British scents. Both play off of my shaving cream well and last a long time.

I used to wear Paco Rabanne. I also liked Poison which actually is geared to woman but a guy can wear too. I use natural essential oils now mostly. Sandalwood, patchouli, dark amber. I like that they can actually make you feel better from smelling. They do have therapeutic properties besides just smelling good. I am very picky though as some oils are not as good as others. Here is where I get mine. woodwillow.com/ I use it very sparingly. I do get inquiries about what I am wearing from the ladies now and then still, so it is working. Also like others mention the deodorant contributes to your smell. I like Tom's of Maine woodspice. Some people need to tone it down on the Body Axe or whatever they are wearing, wow. Strong. No offence to any that wear it here. We had a friend living with us for a bit recently and he had a lot of Body Axe. The body wash was so strong we had to put the bottle in a plastic bag, it was making our eyes water. I would think it is 100% chemical from how it smells.

I don't know if it's a niche or not, but I love the A men line from Thierry Muggler. I hear that Creed is about the best you can get. I have pure malt and pure leather. Waiting on the the re-release of pure coffee. Creed I am finally getting my first bottle of green Irish tweed. Can't wait. Trying the tom ford lines too. The private collections are much better than the regular line. Tried the EDP of Noir and it is a disappointment smells just like Armani code but triple the price. I hear TF tuscan leather and tobacco vanille are good. I am looking for samples.

Ah, good thread! When I went to the fancy Shave Shoppe here in town to look at getting some hipster shaving supplies, I got myself a sampler of these amazing colognes. Penhaligon's of London. The guys in the Shoppe were all wearing one of the varieties and they are amazing. There are five in the sampler, and five women's. Wife and I have been trying them out in hopes of getting one or two each. At other times, I have Old Spice on hand as it reminds me of my Grandfathers. Plus, I just like the smell. In the summer, I use St Johns Bay Rum. I moved from Antiperspirant to deodorant - getting older and that Aluminum is not good for the brain they say Unscented as not to conflict with the scent of the day™

I fell in love with tom ford tabacco vanile and tuscan leather. But $300 a pop for 100ml is a crap load.

I like the musky ones, and more heavy and unusual. I don't like the fresh ones as much. One of the best but I cant find it anymore: Guerlain. Smelled of musk/leather/vanilla. It was a rectangle bottle with a red/gold label. really classic brand. I will try and find it again. The one I use now bc its not too expensive: Smells GoodOthers I like is: Bvlgari Extreme Bvlgari Black Gucci Pour Homme

Spicebomb, but I'm bored with it now after wearing it for a year. I need something new.
Lately my scent has been Play-Doh by Hasbro.

Normally, I just smell like dryer sheets and baby powder, and the ladies seem to like it. I'm not a big cologne person, but I am interested in the oils someone posted a link to

Portland general store has some cool stuff. I have their whiskey aftershave, and that's about as scented as I get. They have Cologne strength versions too, and all their stuff is alcohol free. Someone mentioned tabac, I use the shave soap and have the aftershave balm- might try the cologne- I love the scent. Tabac seems to be very love it or hate it, though.
