I got a shipping notice for my 18oz duck chinos over the weekend. Order was from March but communication was good the couple times I checked in so I wasn't too worried. It's just the two guys as far as I know. Well there was an alligator for a while after the flood but....
That trucker is the first I've seen that I like. The two things I really dislike about truckers, boxy cut and short, both eliminated. Great fabric and the inside out shots showing construction....damn man, very nice.

It's a whole new jacket type, I'd say. That's why I tried to persuade Ciano to get cocky and call it a Type IV. "Put your name on it!"

Yes they are only 2 people to handle everything (afaik). I have to keep quite as I am only in my 11th week of production (if time counts from the day I ordered and paid) now ... but would have appreciated a short line like "Yes, your order is in the making" but my last 6 mails have never been answered. Unfortunately it was Roman A. with his LD%Co desaster that brought me to Ciano, so thats the reason I am a friggen chicken Fingers crossed Ciano will get his head above the water again. overdRAWn

@cf your site lists the type III trucker as coming soon with custom fabric options @ $200. what sort of fabrics would customers have access to? I'm guessing you're limited to what you can get correct? I ask because I think a type III slim fit trucker would look amazing in the same Black x Grey fabric that Gustin used for a recent campaign (see pic below). The only downside is that the BlackxGrey fabric Gustin used was a 10oz which is waaaaay too light. I don't even know if a BlackxGrey fabric is available in a heavier weight, like 14.5, 16 or 20oz.

Just got my 9 oz Cone Lights that were being remade. They're beautiful and fit great. Also this leather patch is SERIOUS. Will definitely be ordering more.

Will do when I get home. Does anyone else have a crooked stitch in the cuffs that goes to the bottom of the cuff? I thought it was maybe a mis-stitch but I checked 4 pairs of Ciano pants and they're all the same. Is this a design choice? My Onis and G's don't have that..

"We have had a couple[few] people ask what the little thread hang off is at the bottom of our denim. that is our little signature to show people that we really use a REAL VINTAGE UNION SPECIAL CHAIN STITCH MACHINE to hem your jeans... and it is okay to cut it off if you like...promise it will not unravel the hem... just so you know..if you ever get your denim hemmed by someone else beside us [ which is free by us ] the red thread inside the chainstitch is called the "release thread" . that thread tells the tailor, that thread is the thread to pull to unravel the chain stitch i/o of cutting all the thread..." Funny to me that this came up, as I am wearing my 18oz Ciano's and was sitting with my feet up on the ottoman, and looking at the chain stitch runoff, and thinking its kind of cool, and a signature thing, as no other pants I own have it.

Just saw this - do you mean the run-off stitch on the bottom? I have this on my Texas Denim. I believe it's a Ciano design element. I don't mind it. It's subtle and works well for those of us who like subtle.

DigDug, nice to see another pair of Wabash. What thread did you go with? I like mine a lot, especially how they're so different to most else that's out there.

I like it, but I think if I were to order a pair of twill chinos for fancier occasions, I'd request they not do that.

Went with Navy thread (there's already a lot going on and they don't need any more contrast). Wife just saw them (now this is a Ann Taylor well put together Woman), her response ... With a big smile "kind of nice ... Kind of clowny". But she didn't even notice them for the first 10 min. that I got home. So they aren't in your face "clowny". With a soak and a few washes (Tub only) I'm thinking the Wabash Dots will tone down a bit from some indigo bleed and the Dark indigo will lighten up toning them down even more over time.
