I opted to jump on the CF Japanese indigo over indigo - $12 cheaper than the Gustin offering with custom elements. This was exactly the denim I was looking for. Granted, an Italian IxI would be just as sweet, but the Japanese offering will break in just nicely.

I wanna go and work for Ciano Get his social media rolling, sort out the website (few mistakes and some inconsistencies), get behind the machine (I studied textiles/sewing but I'm a lil rusty right now) He wouldn't even need to pay me, I'd be happy with a warm meal and a warm bed (though I guess it's hard to find a cold bed in Texas)

Is it normal to have a 6 day window between order confirmation and payment invoice? I'm curious. I sent them a note asking to confirm that I didn't miss it. Not a bad thing, again, learning the process for Ciano. yes

Those are sharp. The stitching will look great with it as it fades. I was thinking of that denim for a trucker.....

Ha, those are my pants! I get to see them here first, go figure Looking good, now I am even more excited. They shipped today and should arrive early next week. I happen to live pretty close from Ciano's workshop so I guess the package shouldn't take that long. I will post fit pics when they arrive.

14oz JAPANESE Organic Brown Hemp Denim This is a pair just shipped today the price was 143USD... SIZE 9 INSEAM 29 905 FIT TALIOR FINISH KHAKI THREAD [ sorry for the rough pictures] Women's? I'm assuming you said this because he said "Size 9". It was a typo (I believe) as you can clearly see the "Size 29" on the pocket bag.

I finally (through no fault of Ciano) got my hands on my 30oz 5 pockets and 12oz chino shorts These are easily the best pairs of bottoms I own. The pocket bags are super heavy The tapered seams are awesome
I've put about 4 weeks on the shorts and only 4 or so wears of the 30ozers but they be my main pair this winter
I'll put a picture up shortly, is there an Instagram tag for Ciano?

I want the vest (without the collar) in a 20oz (think Filson) wool
And I'm wondering if the Brendo jacket would look good in leather (with a zip under the flap instead of buttons)
Any thoughts on these @ciano?

I can't do links just now, but search for Aero Aeromarine, Bill Kelso Aeronaut and Himel something or other. Ciano does a great job with denim and canvas, but I'd always stick to an established leather company when you're talking $1,100 or so.

Yes sorry, I was thinking of a lower cost option then those guys If anyone could do it, and keep up the quality of construction and leather, it's Ciano

Ciano has told me he wants to add another vest style without the collor, similar to an IH vest. I'm cectainly not speaking for Ciano, but I would assume that since his gear is becoming more in demand, and backlog is increasing, I wouldn't expect him to delve into leather at this point and time. He is willing to do custom, and one off stuff, so if your interest is sincere, you could always e-mail him about it. You never know until you ask.

I would like to see a vest similar to the iron heart duck work vest. I would like one with a wool lining for in the winter months the shop I work in can get chilly when they have to open the doors to take stuff outside
