How much do you think a pair with 75 +- wears on it are worth? One soak one wash, some fading. Any thoughts? What's the market in general for jeans worn that much? Seems most people would want minima wear, but I could be wrong. And shame in your for giving up! Final Score Beasts 1 Digdug 0 FWIW, I didn't even try and I got $140 for mine. Basically new, but I could not wear so it was OK. HATED to give them up - it was an epic time with you guys - but now someone else can enjoy them...

DigDug - as I was struggling to get the buttons undone, I was thinking the more appropriate description for these would have been "THE BITCH" Either name works for this pair of denim. I have found that with my pair, they just needed to be pressed into very hard duty, as the denim is ridiculous, but in a good way. With them sewing up small for most of us, they mandate that you do squats, lunges, etc, to get them to break. As far as I'm aware of, the only other attempt at anything heavier is the 32oz world record stuff. I've stretched the waist over an inch, but even after this much time, are still a work in progress.

davelewis - I haven't hemmed mine yet so haven't worn them outside yet but they became a bit more comfy just from wearing them around the house. The blue specs in the denim even impressed my wife

I wore mine yesterday and perhaps I am bizarre, but I find them to be super comfy. Mine are hemmed and even tapered a bit.

I think they would have given in by now. It could be that they are a bit tighter (being thicker) with using my regular belt hole. But they are also heavy so the belt needs to be used or else they'd drupe.

Finally got these hemmed and have worn them all day. Need the waist to stretch one half inch which shouldn't be a problem. Let the pain begin

I've got 75+ wears and every time I put them on I ask myself "Why"? Why am I wearing these?, I have other jeans so much more comfortable.
And each time I answer "I WILL NOT BE BEAT BY THE BEAST!!!" At least till the 21oz MONSTERS come.

DigDug - only thing that is really painful can be the buttoning.

DigDug - only thing that is really painful can be the buttoning. Mine button easy now. The problem that bugs me is that the Denim just doesn't relax, ever! It's got something to prove. Like it knows this is a battle of will power. Wearing them now. And you can see that the denim is stiff and won't relax.
