Somebody got offered a free simple wallet? I was part of the first run of Japan Caramel Chinos that took something like 4+ months and I didn't get no "sorry" gift. did you contact them about the delay? it seems that they only comp if you contact them, not all of the customers impacted. I have sent 3 emails regarding my chinos, and numerous other delays from orders I placed in October. I've never once been offered anything - and I am (was) probably in their top 5 as far as # of sales are concerned.

This is the case. I was in on the first run of duffles and didn't ever contact them, so no cardholder for me lol. I do like the duffle a lot though. edit - just saw arbybaconator's post. So.....basically I have no idea what I'm talking about. Still like the duffle.

No big, as I wouldn't really want a denim wallet. I got a pair of Ciano chinos, and find them to be superior to my Gustin pairs, although they are not twill. I use the Gustin where I need to be a little more refined, but prefer the duck for the comfort, plus with Gustin, the fit either works, or doesn't. where Ciano can achieve the perfect fit.

Anyone know where G posts these days? I have no idea what's going on. I email Ren and get told that they're behind and they're doing their best, but there's no interaction here or on G comm obviously. So where are they posting? I looked on Reddit but there's fools there asking why G is more expensive than Macy's or some such crap. Isn't there a denim-informed forum where G responds anymore?

The other questions get passed over.

Got them. I ordered 3 pairs before and all came in way under spec. This time they are all within tolerances though on the smaller side of the tolerance. They fit me perfectly. Look great and seem well made. Now I wait for 2 more. They are nice enough that my wait doesn't really bother me too much (still a little).

Picked up my navy chinos on the way to work today. The fabric and detailing is a big jump up from Banana Republic, that's for sure. I don't know if I'd wait 4 months for another pair, but I'll probably be scouting for a pair of green ones to buy from the stock store or somebody who missed on sizing.

I e-mailed Ciano a short time ago, about possibility of him sourcing some green duck material. He did say Mt Vernon mills has a 12oz in green. I would be in if he gets some.

These Gustin chinos are incredible pants. I'd kill to have them in about four colors right now. The slim fit is absolutely perfect, construction and details are top notch and the fabric is very impressive. Fit pics coming tomorrow, but these might be my new favorite pants of any kind.
Hit me up if you want to sell any G 33 slims. I'm sold.

Awesome man by all my measurements the 36 slim chino should be money. The herringbone Carmel should be casual enough to rock with workwear tops snd chambray. I have a few pairs of dockers modern for and alpha khaki, banana republic aiden fit and Tommy Hilfiger chinos. Going to be nice to compare.

33 slim in both.
I'd say these are pretty similar to a 32x34 Aiden slim BR chino, maybe just a tad trimmer in the seat and a little wider at the hem. Also pretty similar to a 32 Bonobos chino.
Some guy on b/s/t is selling brown ducks and graphites in 32 slim, so close but yet so far.

These are edited to lighten the photos, the pants are actually a very dark navy. I'm really loving the fit.

I love my Dockers Alpha Skinny/Slim Taper Chino and I think it has the same fit. Just don't see myself spending too much money on non selvedge chino at this point.

I do like my pairs of Japan Caramel, and Olive chinos. Very nice twill, and will be wearing them for warmer weather. I was a bit hesitant about the price initially, but I feel they are a cut about the usual mall suspects, and they have the right details. I don't feel the need to have selvedge features for chinos, and certainly wouldn't spend an extra $100 bucks, for what LF offers.

I love my dockers modern fit slim from JCP and alpha slim tapered khakis and banana republic aiden fit chinos. 25-30$ a pair on sale is hard to beat. I had credit figured the herringbone caramel chinos would look pretty different and casual. Everyone said Gustin made some bad ass chinos so figured it was a good spend.

Finally got the Brown Duck Canvas Chinos! But there's a stain on the front leg, so they're going back. This is frustrating.

Oooof. The fact that my navy chinos are perfect took a little of the sting of waiting 4 months out. If they had to go back I'd be crazy pissed.

Hi fellas, can anyone speak to the difference between slim and reg G chinos? I wear a 30 slim in the jeans, but I'm worried that some say that the chinos have been coming out small. I'm still waiting on my Japan caramels, but if anyone can give an estimate from the more recent batches of chinos (if they're spec) that would be great. I think they've fluctuated. I ask because I want to get the Navy ones now backing, but I'm hesitant as I haven't yet been able to try my size.
