They're local. Shop is pretty nice. The owner Luke typically does the repair and hem work. I'll probably be dropping a pair off for repair and a pair for hem today or tomorrow actually.
For denim purchased there the hem service is free, for everything else it's either $20 or $25 (can't remember). A bit more than I'd like to pay...but really my only option for a local chainstitch hem.

Nice to have a local option. Roman has offered to hem-up my non-LD denim, but I've had the ones that needed hemming taken care of by ABFits. It was $10 but now $15 from what I've been told. Still not bad. About 2-3 weeks turnaround if you don't mind being patient.

I had thought about using ABfits, but figure after shipping and the wait it was really only a few $ difference.

Late to this party but Mildblend is great. Luke is even better. maybe 6 years ago I started buying from him but via his ebay store. I bought my 1st selvedge jeans off him, NUDIES of course. U can say he helped start my obsession.
Do a search of Mildblend and u will find an old article where a MOB of kids are caught on camera robbing his store. The video shows 50 kids coming in with stealing on their minds
